Flying Horse Ranch

Not knocking on your gorgeous and very spacial land, the venue was good, but you can do so much more. I also got food poisoning from the food catering; roast beef, chicken, and not sure what the other meat was maybe turkey were undercooked and dry. PROs:- Easy to find- Isolated venue location- Clean, gorgeous, easily to go venture around and not get lost; not so overwhelming. - Though it's on your personal cattle ranch it was not overwhelming with cattle manure smell. - Photography on the side for everyone to leave a memory book for the couple; a plus. CONS:- While waiting to start the whole ceremony the building we stood around in had no AC on so had to open doors or step outside to allow the wind to cooldown; that was for everyone. - Wedding planner or venue manager was demanding, but unease when it came to answer things; felt rushed to get it all over with. - Table set up and arrangement could've been way better. Should've used that whole back door for the location of the Wedding Group instead of cutting straight down. Seats for children and the guest were all over the place. Assigned seats weren't honored. Especially when it came to KEY POINTS like:1) Cutting of the cake, everyone either had to stand and get into other peoples way to see that happened. No special table set up to do it at just the regular serving table. That's very sad like.2) Already mentioned the seating arrangement for the Wedding Group was straight down the middle blocking a better potential dance floor & the ability for everyone to see the cake cutting and other parts for the ceremony. 3) Catering location provided a traffic jam and confusing of where the line started and ended. Again, doors had to get propped open bc there was no AC only ceiling fans. Can't add the DJ and Photography personnel to this bc well I wasn't to sure if they provided them too. I asked, couldn't get a straight answer nor did I want to bother the couple abt it all. Overall, I wouldn't pay the price they asked for the weak set up and ceremony arrangements.

Beautiful venue with amazing staff and services, the location was amazing, had a great time. I was a little let down there were no flying horses to be found, 4/5.

My husband and I recently had our wedding here in September and we couldn't be more happy with our choice to use Flying Horse Ranch. The minute we drove up to the property we knew this was the place for us! The venue is incredibly beautiful and we loved how private it is. There are a ton of options for a ceremony between the open field, barn, and the elegant house. The staff is just as amazing as the property, Megan and Sara were so helpful and always got back to me in a timely manner. Day of the wedding they put everything together just the way I had imagined it, while I got to enjoy my day stress free as they took care of everything. I would highly recommended Flying Horse Ranch for any of your event needs!

We had our daughter's wedding at the Flying Horse Ranch. The Venue is beautiful and the staff was very helpful and nice. The building is very homey and welcoming. We used the barn for dancing. The setting is gorgeous! We would recommend this place to anyone...!

All of these positive reviews are true, unfortunately there is bad newsthat should be strongly considered... We were told the venue was 35 minutes from Park Meadows mall.NO. One hour and 10 minutes under the best of circumstances from P.M. The route on I-25 is down to 2 small lanes with cement wall dividers, which is harrowing with semi-trucks everywhere. So, please consider the many people that must drive down and home in the dark after they have been drinking and are probably very tired. We tried to book a room in Monument or Larkspur (there really aren't any), rooms 25 minutes south in Co. Springs 250. per night Brides-to-be Think of your guests& BEST WISHES!!!
