While my group managed to snag a prime (and FREE) campsite along Rampart Range Road; we decided that we should check out the paid sites as well. So we ventured over to Flatrocks Campground.PROs:++ They do feature drinking water and toilets. ++ They do have fire rings and picnic tables.CONs:-- Sites are incredibly small, very rocky, and have little to no shade. -- It's a small campground and all the sites are crowded together. -- At $18 per site for overnight camping and $6 for each vehicle past the first two it's a bit expensive for what you get.Eh, they really aren't anything spectacular. I guess they'll do in a pinch. I would check the free camping along Rampart Range Road first or head further down towards the trailhead for Devils Head and see if there's some sites available in there before settling on this campground.**Pro Tip: Discharge of firearms is NOT allowed here or in the free camping areas. With all the trails in the area it only makes sense!
