You will find Jesus here. His house is being built. 4 services. A full worship choir, brass ensemble, worship band. Nursery, and many opportunities on Sunday and Wednesday evening to get together in a small group setting. Great programs for children and teens.

First Presbyterian is a large church in downtown Colorado Springs. The new service schedule includes 8:30 and 10 AM traditional services with hymns and a large choir. 9:50 AM and 5 PM are contemporary services (The 5 PM is an especially relaxed "come as you are" atmosphere). 11:30 AM is a blended service with a youth choir. Food is served before all the services in the fellowship hall.Head pastor Jim Singleton is known as an excellent and thoughtful teacher. Some special ministries the church offers include divorce recovery and grief workshops, a young adult community, the Alpha program for those new to the Christian faith, and extensive children's and youth programs.Although it's big, First Pres is a very welcoming, friendly community. My son is enrolled in the get set program at first Presbyterian that I enrolled him at the school and filled out the paperwork. I went to pick him up from the school and they refused to let me pick up my son there is no custody order or protection order involving my son there was no documentation provided to the school that says I am not allowed to pick my son up from school. I sent messages to the school about this and they said the director of kids said would contact me and have not been contacted yet about this issue.

I liked the Traditional one. The modern was to loud. I went to Heaven sent in Hackettstown, NJ for some reason now this church is making a preschool. Interesting. Have a great time with all of that.
