10/10 would recommend a fancy wiener. Good food. Good service. Entertainment free.....

Whatever they're putting in this stuff, I'm diggin' it!Stopped by here because a friend of mine has been craving hot dogs and the distillery a few doors down really disappointed us. Luckily Fancy Weiner was there to rescue us! Just a stumble around the corner and we came upon this holy grail of weiners!We had one of each and each one was as spectacular as the last! My favorite though was the jalapeño popper one. Next time I'm in town, I'll be sure to drop by for another fancy weiner!

10/10 for Fancy Weiner!!! I stumbled across this place yesterday while visiting Buena Vista and am STOKED! Turns out yesterday was their first day in business... ever. Like, ever ever, not "just since the world as we knew it imploded with Covid". While their menu looked killer, I did only have their Popper dog. To be honest, I wasn't even hungry (at the f*** all) but I couldn't resist. It smelled soooo good! And it was totally worth it!!! It was a hotdog (duh) with jalapenos, cream cheese, bacon, and ranch on a toasted bun. Talk about a happy dance! I also got to chat with Dan, the owner, a bit. He was super nice, happy dude. He apparently has some t-shirts coming soon that say "I drove all the way to Buena Vista to get my hands on a Fancy Weiner". Looks like I'm gonna have to drive all the way to Buena Vista to get more dogs and get my hands on that shirt! I did manage to get a pin with their logo on it though [see pic], but was too excited to eat my Popper dog to get a pic.

So good! I wanted to take pictures but we ate them too fast. Music was good, conversation was great. Will drive back just for the dogs!

Amazing Wieners, always fill me up and never leave me disappointed. Delicious and satisfying.

This place is AWESOME!!! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon it late on a Friday when nowhere else was open for food. It was the happiest accident because not only is the food delicious but the owner is super friendly and fun to talk to! We had the jalapeño popper and Chicago dogs and they were both SO good!! If you're in town for any length of time and looking for food Fancy Wiener is worth the stop!!

A delicious surprise in a town of bland food! Stumbled on the wiener stand while walking along Main St. looking for a quick bite. We ordered 2 different dogs that were so good we went back and ordered another to split!The owner is so fun to talk to and passionate about delivering a quality product to his customers I wish him success.

Best Chicago dog in BV. Proprietor is fun and obviously cares about getting the right (authentic) ingredients. This is the go-to place for your post-dinner hotdog.Qualifications: from Chicago, am a piglet

Dan makes the best hot dogs i have ever eaten. Even my 18 year old loves them (she is picky!). Definitely reminds me of the popcorn wagon in Aspen. Don't skip this experience!
