Annie Lane did my nails. Had a great time and she did a great job. She took great care to do several coats and make sure they looked perfect before she was done. I'll definitely be back.

Cindy is my hairstylist and this lady really knows her craft, whether she is cutting and styling my hair to coloring or high lites she never disappoint!!Maria who is the owner of Expectations treats everyone like family. Having a facial done by her is like a little bit of heaven! Waxing of your brows and lips is done painless.I cannot say enough about how great these two ladies are their many years of experience is never wasted but really appreciated by me.

Jackie was patient, thorough and kind. Since I usually go to a different salon, we had to figure out what I would like best. My French nails turned out to be very beautiful. Not sure if it will be my regular nail salon yet, but it's only 11mins from my house and I am pleased with the professionalism.There are other services available also. Check them out.

The worse nail job I've ever had.The owner was really nice at this salon. However, the nail job I receive was horrible. First of all my mother in law was taken first. I wasn't spoken to for an hour. When it was my turn to get my nails done, I had gel and I was quickly told that I should have told someone I had gel. (I would have but no one talked to me for an hour while I waited for my turn.) My toe nails are uneven and look like they were cut by rusty scissors. I originally went in with purple finger nail polish, as you can see it's still there. Here's the kicker, the young lady that was doing my nails went and took the yellow toe dividers off my mother in laws feet and then used them on me. And as she was sitting there she reached over and grabbed some that were left from the lady that got her toes done next to me and threw them in my water! Which I guess she thought was ok since she poured Dawn dish soap in my water that my feet were soaking in. I started to feel like I was in a bad Saturday Night skit.

For a small town salon in Monument, Expectations has massive appeal. From the moment you walk through the door there is always a friendly face to greet you. I have been coming to this salon now for over a decade and now my daughter is of an age to have treatments here. My expectations are high for cleanliness and service and they are always exceeded. I am proud that our small town has such a salon that I have referred many a friend to for many different reasons. From facials to waxing, tanning and pedicures, this is a salon my family will be using for a long time to come. Just spectacular service from spectacular staff.

I visited this salon while traveling in Colorado, and was very satisfied with the facial I got. It was comparable to facials I've had at Bliss, but at about 1/3 the cost. I also booked a facial for my friend, but she really wanted a pedicure. Kudos to the staff for accommodating the last minute change! I will definitely patronize this business again when in the area.

This is my absolute favorite salon for waxing. I've been other places and nowhere else is better for quality and price! Even though I have moved, if I know I'm making a trip to Colorado, I make an appointment with Maria.

First of all, I would give this place five stars for the staff. They're friendly and kind. The place has been there for years so I'm sure they're doing something right. However, I give them one star for hygienic factors. For those of you who care a lot about good hygiene, I would not recommend this place. If you don't care, then this would be a lovely place to get your pedicures. I can only attest for their pedicures though and I will not be going back....They do not use disposable plastic liners in their foot tubs. I'm hoping they sanitize after each use. They reuse the foam toe separators, which I found gross. They do not sterilize the nail equipment or have it in sterilized packaging. It's just pulled from the same basket for all pedicure clients. Which I also found gross. But other than those things, I'm sure most people probably enjoying going. I personally will not be spending my money there again.Hopefully the owner can see this and will reevaluate the hygienic practices.

The staff here are always very welcoming and professional. I have been to places with horrible customer service before, and Maria goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed by Maria for a long time, but I recently moved to another state and I have been hesitant to get them done by anyone else. She does a perfect job and I know that next time I am in Monument, I will be paying Expectations Salon a visit. (Other services offered there are great as well! Hair, nails, massage, facials: all fabulous!) Definitely make sure to check out this hidden gem in Monument.

I would just like to say that I have worked at this salon for almost 15 years and we have the most impeccable cleaning procedures for every aspect of our business. I welcome you to come check us out. We would not be in business for as long as we have been if it were not so. Everyone of us takes pride in our field, hair, skin and nails.
