Evergreen Restaurant

We tried Evergreen on a Saturday night and although we decided 4 stars we will definitely return. One of my issues was the lack of gfdf options. I was fine this evening to get the shrimp salad. It was so good! Seasoned well with half dozen medium grilled shrimp. I almost licked the plate. Macaroons for dessert were delicious. One with a creamy filling and the other with a fruit center. Some dairy but not a lot. The 3 other in our party got different options. The beef was overcooked and a bit dry but the sauce saved the dish. The diner raved about it. The pasta dish was good but could have used another minute in the water. The salmon was ok but the diner thought it odd that it was fried. The other desserts ordered was the 9 layer cake. That was definitely the big winner of the evening. Favorite cocktail was the pumpkin spice with ginger beer. It was a very light flavor and ordered for a second drink. Service was very friendly and the ambiance comfortable, quiet, and just beautiful. We will be backNote: park in the alley west of Tejon for a shorter walk.

I would consider this place to be incomplete. Service was just okay as it did take a little long to be acknowledged and get our drink orders in, though it wasn't very busy. For our meal we had two Beef Stroganoffs, Beef Spaghetti, and Shrimp Salad. They were all pretty good but the Beef Stroganoff was really steak and potatoes. The menu is basic and perhaps a bit misleading. We were told our dessert was a souffle but it really was more of a mousse brownie. We felt like there is a lot of potential here but not yet. We'll likely try again in a couple of months.

Was excited to try this restaurant. The ambiance is wonderful with a delightful patio and atmospheric interior. Wait staff were attentive and helpful. I was a little disappointed in the food. The chicken was a little dry and my companions pasta lacked just a little flavor. To be fair our expectations were high but we felt our main courses were not quite where we wanted them.Any disappointment on the mains was quickly replaced by delight at the desserts. The desserts are made daily and are unique! The lemon cake looked just like a lemon, not just on the exterior but also in the interior!!!! Taste was out of this world!The Macron was light and tasty and my companion enjoyed her golden coffee.Would I return, for dessert definitely, I would also like to try their breakfast. I may have been unlucky with mains so will give it another try.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. Drinks were great. Loved the espresso martini very low sugar great coffee flavor. They pay attention to detail. All of our cocktails had beautiful single Icecubes in them. From roses to crystals. The appetizers were phenomenal the Brussels, the carrots, and the beet salad were amazing. Every one enjoyed there entrees. The paperkash was amazing the branzino was great. The Kiev was delicious. You just can't go wrong. It truly was a great experience the way the owners wanted it. We will be back. Fantastic place. The deserts were unbelievable we had the raspberry and the lemon. I have never experienced anything close to this in Colorado Springs. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

This place is a hidden gem! We went for my girlfriend's birthday. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous, they also have an outdoor patio for dining. Our food was absolutely delicious, and my coffee was the best I've had in the Springs. We shared a honey cake and a lemon cake and both were absolutely delicious. The lemon cake was my favorite because of the way it is served. It looks exactly like a lemon. The honey cake was so good, not too sweet and perfect for brunch. Five stars for service, ambience, and a lot of personality.

very rude staff LMFAOOO how are you going to have HALF of your menu not available and then proceed to be mad when I ask for a pasta without a certain meat. go straight to hell. Do NOT come here, not even made from italian's... food mid as hell. Made it very awkward for our whole table...i'll be making a video on this

I won't be returning. Tried this place once and now I know. The ambiance is wonderful and that is the best I have to say. Service was meh (maybe it's a difference of culture) but the food was off putting. Ordered the carbanara and added shrimp... big mistake. Within 15mins of eating the food I felt something wasn't right. Struggled to drive home safely and when I did, I spent the next hour in the bathroom. Puking and pooping... thanks Evergreen. Never again.

Wonderful experience. The server and host were very attentive and everything from appetizer to dessert was delicious. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone on the area.

I am thrilled to give this gem a five-star rating for these two chef's ambition, innovative food and atmosphere. Their chef-driven and delicious food will entice you to return often for this delightful experience. I love their season decor concept. I particularly enjoyed the Green Mussels in a rich Blue Cheese cream sauce, which was outstanding, along with a divine dessert that perfectly capped off the meal. The service was impeccable, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

Had reserved a table 4 weeks ago, confirmed with the actual chef. Got to the restaurant on Valentine's Day and they had overbooked!! The really bad part is that they made everyone prepay! Not sure how we get our money back. They ruined our night! They deserve a single star. Very shady charging people to get a reservation and have no tables available. We were not the only couple turned away.
