Absolutely nothing enchanting about this property! Filthy rugs caked with dog hair in the main house and the carpeting in the cottage was pet stained and had a terrible smell. The owner is a pack rat and had every single closet jam packed with her junk so that guests have no place to hang their clothes. The fridge had rotting food from prior guests and the freezer was filled with food dated from YEARS past. The upstairs tub was filthy and the shower curtain mouldy. The floors upstairs had not been cleaned and we found a dead mouse in the house on the second morning. Completely gross. The grounds are not maintained. Completely lacking in any spirit, so against he grain of a town like Crestone!

DO NOT STAY!!After arriving at the Enchanted Forest, my boyfriend and I were shocked by the lack of a forest anywhere, it was deserted and no one was there to show us our room or around the grounds. After having to look ourselves I checked in the bed sheets of the room that we figured was ours by a key just being in the door and the only room unlocked, (something you should always do..) I found mouse feces and urine on the white bed sheets, that was the last straw, after letting Anne (owner) know that we were no longer going to stay she refused give me a full refund stating that we didn't let her know soon enough but she never stated that there was a time frame for cancellations, and for weeks ignored my phone calls and emails to discuss this matter, I am still waiting on a refund!!!! I recommend staying else where in Crestone, Co that is more accommodating and has clean bed sheets!!!
