Empire Tattoo

Went in same day for a small tattoo on my wrist. Nick was the artist who was working at the time and he style is just what I was looking for for my small dainty piece. I got a small pineapple. He was able to almost identically recreate the example I showed him. I'm very pleased and would return if I was considering another piece when visiting CO Springs again.

We had a 3-person spur of the moment walk-in tattoo here. Got helped by Garrett and he made us feel right at home. The couch was pretty comfy while we waited to get the tattoos done. He gave us his professional opinion about colors and what would last the longest. He rolled with the punches and was pretty flexible with our choices.I would be back.Also, the tape he gave us and the info was so helpful!

First off, I don't know why they have that shitty picture up because that's not the quality of work I've seen or have had done. Anyway, I can only tell y'all about my experience with my artist, Lawrence Armstrong. He's amazing! I've been going to him with random ideas and pictures for the last 4 years, and I describe what I'm visualizing and let him do his thing. He brings my ideas to life with his drawings and his amazing ink work! He's very attentive and will make on-the-spot changes if there's something you don't like or if you happen to have a last minute idea... I always get compliments on my skin art.

Worst experience ever tattoe did not look like what we wanted.When we had concerns of infection we received no reponse for 2 hours then when we did get a response it was a very nasty one. In fact a argument of repeated text messages for hours from the artist

I was a walk-in. The place was really clean & the staff was friendly! Also, the prices are good and my tattoo looks great!

I was visiting from Arizona and on the last day I was in Colorado, me along with my friend came in for a walk in tattoo. Everything seemed great and the tattoo honestly looked like how I wanted once I left. Five days later, the last day that my bandage was supposed to be covering my tattoo, the tattoo came off with it. After, getting back home the remanence of my tattoo began raising and scarring up like a brand. I finally texted the tattoo artist politely explaining what happened and asking if I could get a refund, and all he gave me was attitude. "First of all", I understandably never even considered asking him for a touchup or his tips. These past few days all I have been hoping for is a refund so that I can get a cover-up tattoo from an artist in Arizona. Now, I am still awaiting another response regarding my refund... His name is Javi.

This use to be my number one choice location for tattoos. However, the staff has become very rude making it anything but worth it.

Empire tattoo is great! It's in a little sketchy of an area, but it's definitely worth it. I've had 2 of 4 of my tattoos done there and I couldn't be happier with them. Carlos did a small simplified rendition of a Michelangelo on my ribs, and I just went in yesterday and Jewels (Jules? Not sure how to spell it), did an amazing job on putting a quote in my parents' handwriting right next to it. Will definitely be going back to them for any future tattoos.

Just no. The employees just show up when they want to I guess and specialize in copying other people's tattoos. Showed him 3 different tattoos, showed him exactly what I wanted from those 3 then he has the audacity to draw out a straight up exact copy of one of the tattoos I showed him when I told him that's not what I wanted he said i should've told him i didnt want a copy like dude wtf i came to you to fill in a small space on my sleeve. Like, come on really, what part of I have a whole tattoo sleeve tells you I want a copy of somebody else's. In my experience getting tattooed no good artist ever just automatically assumes you want a copy of someone else's tattoo, they will always try to create their own out of examples you've shown them, places I have gone to in the past actually refuse to copy because its stealing someone else's art so that just goes to show you what kinds of people these are....

went here before and had a good experience, went for a walk in today, totally different story. the store was totally empty and we were greeted half ass-ly by the front desk women, and the artist seemed bothered to be interrupted while she sat on the couch, and the front desk women were beyond bothered for simple small talk, like complimenting their tattoos. the whole experience was really awkward and we felt like a burden to them, when the whole ordeal only lasted 3 minutes. this made us tell the artist we needed to leave because it was such a horrible uncomfortable feeling.
