This high concept restaurant boasts a forward design with interesting artwork, and a real fireplace, which added a cozy touch. As it was the holiday season, you could choose between a la carte or the three course set menu. There was a choice between several dishes for each course, elegantly prepared and introduced by our server, who detailed the ingredients and sauces.Although in a pricier range, Ember is an experience worth enjoying.

My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience at Ember last night thanks in great part to Chase who made the reservation for us & hooked us up with an amazing table. Our server Tracy was the best. We really appreciated her detailed explanations of each dish we ordered. The chef has crafted some really unique dishes which are perfect for sharing. We loved everything about the place and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Breck.

Delicious meal with great service! We were given a gluten free menu and the server was very knowledgeable for GF options. The restaurant gave me vibes from the movie Elemental! We were a bachelorette party and the server treated us very well. He was very attentive and also provided local recommendations. Some of the things we ordered: hamachi & prawns for apps, lamb chops, scallops, some yummy ice cream for dessert.

This is a special place. Not just because it's in the magical mountains of Colorado, but because the ambiance, the service, the food wove together to make a very special dinner for a group of our friends. And then there's the artistic plating of every single dish. Truly was one of those where we had to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the food being presented. Our waiter elegantly explained each of our dishes and what was before us... and then we got to eat!!! Every bit as good as the presentation! I'll treasure this meal as one of the very best ever. And plan on going back when we're in the mountains!

What a wonderful experience to help ring in a milestone birthday. We made dinner reservations the night before for a party of 8 and managed to snag a table. They have several floors in a rather tiny restaurant space. The food was amazing. You really can't go wrong. Between the 8 of us we managed to order most of the menu and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend.

Excellent meal from Ember in Breckenridge! Courses were timed out perfectly - we shared each order between 4 of us and we all got a couple bites of every dish. Great way to do it since you will want to taste EVERYTHING!!!

I finally made it into Ember after some false starts. The menu approach of choosing a starter, main and dessert from a limited set can be a little imposing. I found there were many things on each list that looked interesting and will be back to try some others later this season. Jess did a great job and made sure everything came out as it should when it should. The soup with a rabbit taco was very tasty and not too much food to start one off. The Elk was HUGE and really nice. I live more in medium rare+ land so I'd probably recommend medium for most folks unless you really go rare on your meats. It's a lean meat so you do have to be careful how well done you go. There just isnt a lot of fat to cook off. Then the blueberry pie for dessert was really nice. The whipped cream, hazelnut, lemon curd and maybe one other thing on the plate let you really experiment if you are a perfect bite eater--you know who you are. The Uncle Sherry was a great riff on a manhattan and the Tooth & Nail Syrah paired really nicely with the Elk

Charlie or Chuck was not very welcoming. The restaurant was nice, and the food was okay. But Charlie/Chuck was not polite with the simplest of questions. We actually found a hair in our food and didn't even complain about it because we knew how rude he was and we just didn't want to deal with it anymore. When I gave him a polite "constructive feedback" privately he just said "thanks bud". I wouldn't rate this restaurant based off of this servers service alone, but definitely something to think about. Hopefully they find better servers in the future!

The presentation of the dishes were novel and attractive. However, the food itself was among the worst I've ever had . All of it was extremely salty. I had a pheasant dish that was so spicy hot that I couldn't tell what was in it. I had lambchops that were tasteless and so tough that the steak knife had difficulty sawing through the hunk of meat. It is the next day and I am still feeling sick from the food. The service and ambiance were excellent so I give it 2 stars rather than 1.
