Truly doesn't deserve one star | Reading the reviews I expected a quick appointment, and to leave satisfied. Leaving here today, I couldn't be more upset and also feeling a little insecure! :( Came in for a simple braid, took three attempts for me to get told it's "too difficult" because of my layers, and insisted my stylist did a "bad job." I left the salon today extremely disappointed, and with my hair the SAME EXACT WAY it was before coming in. And I'm still getting charged? If a customer leaves upset, something should be done to make compromise. Ellen said she wouldn't discount me because it took too much of her time. Yet it did of mine too, not returning.

Ellen is incredibly personable and welcoming. She really listened to what I wanted then made it happen. I'm very impressed with her quality of work, and will definitely be back!!!

Ellen always does an amazing job on my hair! And it is always an enjoyable time chatting with her while she works her magic! I'm so proud of her starting off on her own after so many years at Veda. She is a true talent in the hair industry.

I loved my pedicure with Ellen Regina! What made it so special was Ellen herself--she made me feel right at home and did a great job on my toes. She has such energy and such a caring nature--I feel like I made a new friend. The only tiny thing that was missing was a pedicure chair for a little more comfort! Other than that, thumbs up to a wonderful morning!

Ellen is amazing! She has high energy keeps a social atmosphere and is honest about what your getting. I love my hair and she did what I wanted. I highly recommend Ellen and will be going back for my hair needs! Very happy customer!!!

Ellen is full of energy, outgoing, and knows hair. She really listened to what I wanted and I showed her pictures. I warned her my hair does wonky things, I have a cowlick, and it can be plain stubborn. She ended up agreeing with me but gave a great cut in spite of these things.

Fantastic hair stylist!! She took time to listen to what I wanted and why. I will not go to anyone else!! I got a perm and cut, been 3 months and I still love it. Best style I have had in years.

In my fifteen years of living in Colorado Springs, it has been impossible to find a hairstylist who can deal with my very fine "squirrel" hair - it just doesn't do what it's supposed to do and even though I gave many other stylists months to get it figured out, my looks in the mirror were always disappointing. I wasted a lot of money hoping for pretty hair!I was resigned to just deal with the situation as it was and avoided getting my hair cut or styled - let alone colored in any way until an event came up where I had to do something about my current "do". And again disappointment and an empty wallet to go with it!Ellen Regina was right down the street from my house and I thought "Let's give it a shot". "Can't be worse than what I had in the past right?"This was the best decision I ever made and she is worth every penny I pay her! I tell this to everyone who asks about who does my hair!My hair has never looked better. Ellen worked with me to enhance the color with various combinations of highlighting, gave me a style I can handle myself and has helped me to improve the quality and condition of my hair.Ellen is a rarity in hairstylists and over the years she has been doing my hair, I can honestly say I have never regretted one appointment or one dollar spent! I look forward to every appointment, knowing my hair will continue to look the best it can. And over the years, Ellen has become my favorite hairstylist of all times and a great friend!

Brought my daughter here. Worse experience ever. Owner was the rudest woman I have ever met. Truly an unhappy person, so much I feel sorry for her. Should probably get Into a a different line of work.

The salon is very neat and I really liked the atmosphere. With that being said, I felt completely misunderstood and disrespected by Ellen. She had me dry brush my own hair and then proceeded to cut much more than I asked for. I went in with hair to my belly button and requested absolutely no shorter than my nipple. After the cut, she swept my hair in front and it was almost up to my shoulders. I was mortified. It has been weeks since my haircut and I still get upset every single day because of the horrible experience I had. I was very clear that I wanted to keep my hair long and she still tried to blame the misunderstanding on me not being specific enough.
