The Elizabeth Stampede

The Elizabeth Stampede has become an annual tradition since our friends moved to Elizabeth before COVID. So naturally when they announced the festivities were back, so were we!++ The local brewery, Elizabeth Brewing Company, had a booth set up and was serving up a killer prickly pear margarita beer that I just couldn't get enough of. ++ Can we talk about the food? Cause damn, were there some amazing food vendors. I'm a sucker for funnel cake. So I always insist on picking one up, and it never disappoints. There are tons of other options including tacos, shrimp po' boys, and so many more options.++ Naturally, the mutton bustin' is the sweetest part of the show. Watching the littles hold on for dear life to a fluffy sheep is always the sweetest.++ There's a ton of vendors selling just about everything you need. Belt buckles? Yep! Shirts? Yep! Cowboy hats? Yep! Window? For the love of god why are they selling window at the rodeo, but yep!++ The people are always super friendly. Though I will say, with the "cowboy culture" gaining popularity (thanks Yellowstone) it's gotten a lot more crowded than previous years. Easy to see that The Elizabeth Stampede is a tradition we look forward to year after year. Can't wait to make our way back for a sunny day spent with friends.

Moved to Elizabeth a little over 3 years ago and only missed this great local Rodeo one time when my wife and I were on a Mediterranean cruise. We make sure to come with friends the first night for the bull riding as it's a blast. This year my wife is working as a volunteer so I'm coming Sat. and Sun. as well. Great for everyone and all ages!!!!!!

This is a great local rodeo! Happens the first full weekend in June every year. Jump start your summer with The Elizabeth Stampede. 3 days of rodeo fun, including a vendor alley, live music, and much more. One of Colorado's hidden gems!

Took my family to the Elizabeth Stampede for the first time. I have gone to a lot of rodeos in my life and this we did the bull riders only night. My 3 year son and 5 year old daughter so excited they love the bull riding. After getting there we discovered that front row seers are not worth the money. They didn't elevate the bleachers. The the rodeo judge. The photographer and all I can figure was one of there buddy's that hung out stood right in front of us the whole rodeo. What a wast of time and money.

Awesome! One of the best rodeos I've been to in a long time! Plan to spend some time here, fair rides not far away. Downtown festival really close. Parking is worth getting to be fairly close. If you are going to the family rodeo in the middle of the day try to get in section L top row. Bit of shade up there. Careful with little ones kids can easily fall through bleachers. Top row is a great view plus something to lean against. Mixed drinks and beer same price. All in all great time!
