My son loves their horchata and churros, I knew on my most recent visit I couldn't miss out on either. We grabbed carne asada burritos from here one evening and shared a churro and large horchata. Delish!Honestly, I'm not a tough critic when it comes to burritos - sort of like pizza, it takes a special type to F something so simple up. Toss a bunch of ingredients into a tortilla and fold it up! Chances are you'll be good to go.El Super Taco's burrito was fine for me. I'd fallen ill with the flu but could still taste, thank God~ we grabbed dinner from here and the one thing that stood out to me was my burrito seemed cold. It was like 6 degrees outside but I wondered how it got cold so quickly, that's when my son pointed out they put lettuce inside of it and it was the lettuce that makes it cold. It was fine, but I suppose I don't require lettuce in my burrito.The horchata was a bit sweeter than I'd prefer as I don't typically care for sweet drinks. It was a very good horchata though. The churro was also yummy, made me remember how much I love churros.I'd say El Super Taco is a super solid joint, but I've only had them once. The salsas were great! We tried 3 or 4 of them. I love hot and flavorful or milder, but flavor is a must - they were all yummy. Good spot, I'd recommend if you aren't on a quest for some remote village outside of Oaxaca mexican experience. This is Colorado Springs! The food checks out.

Holy Cow! I want to cuss but don't want my review to get thrown out. This place was absolutely delicious and amazing!!!! I want to go back tonight and tomorrow and the day after that and so on.I walked in and was greeted kindly and in English although they clearly spoke Spanish and I probably could have managed. I ordered the #3 plate and a drink and was served within five minutes. I also grabbed some salsa and the señora tending that bar was very kind and informative. I took my food to go, but the restaurant was very clean and nicely arranged. It's not some dark moody steak house, but it had some insanely good Mexican food inside. I had two beef tacos in the freshly fried crispy taco shells. The veggies were so fresh and crisp and the beef was so tasty. The taco shell hit just right and the salsa I picked was epic with it. The point I knew this place was perfect was the rice and beans. I love rice, but beans I could take or leave. I ate basically all the beans. They were so good. If you're down south by Cheyenne Mtn. State Park, PPSC, or Fort Carson, stop at El Super Taco for some well priced food that tastes like heaven.

Placed an order for pick up. Estimated time for food was right on. Walked in and was greeted and felt homey! We Ordered the Ham Torta with rices and beans and it was delicious! The pico de gallo was perfect. The rice and beans were amazing!Also order 2 of The Birra burritos very juicy, perfectly cooked, and all around great!Not the biggest fan of the fries- bland

Stopped here with my husband after leaving a doctor's appt. at Ft. Carson. Searched on Yelp for local places with breakfast burritos & this had the best reviews nearby.We both ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Quick review: very tasty, very filling. I could only eat half because of the size, so saved the other half for lunch. My husband crushed the whole thing, but definitely was stuffed after.Staff was nice. We took our burritos to go, but plenty of space to dine in. We would come back, especially with how convenient it is leaving post!

The worst customer service ever! I called ahead to make sure I was placing my pick up order correctly and then placed it the way they told me only to show up and then be told something different. I ordered two items off the "combos" menu and that they said would come with rice, beans, and a drink but upon arrival they didn't come with it. I ordered a third item and payed 3.99 extra to also make it a combo only for it to not come with those things either! the gal at the counter said only "combos" come with those items. I showed her the breakdown of my order where they both said "combos" she then got the manager who came and told me that it's actually only specials that come with it. I literally called before hand to make sure I was ordering the correct thing and they told me incorrectly twice! I will never be coming to this place again.

The breakfast burrito is now a potato burrito. Even the pinche potato was the size of a small apple. Barely found the egg and no seasoning. This place has gone downhill. Might try the gringo joint.

First time was great, service and food. Second time is not good at all. Service wasn't friendly , salsas were not fresh, another lady cleaned restroom right in front of our table and the smell of chems and toilet was awful. Hubby had stomach aches after eating there. I didn't feel good from that visit. It was a disappointing experience. Not going there anymore.
