My kid really enjoyed the quesadilla kid meal. She was raving about the fries in particular and asked if we would eat there again. I really liked the chili dip that came out with the table chips and salsa, it had cheese and meat in it. I got a combo meal and felt the best parts were the taco and the chile relleno. The chile had a ton of cheese and flavor. I got a pina colada and it okay, pretty standard. The service was great. Plates were taken quickly and everything was clean. Inside, the place felt like a typical Mexican family restaurant and was decorated with that style of decor.

This is an exceptional, small, family restaurant. You walk in and are greeted with smiles. The atmosphere is colorful and pristine. The food is delicious! A favorite of mine and my family!

I was hoping this place had gotten bought out or taken over from the owners, It has not and they are still as rude as ever. Do yourself a favor and try one of the other 50 Mexican restaurants within 20 mins of this area. The food is good but can't justify the mean and hateful staff.

It's on the NE corner of the two highways (86 & 83) in Franktown, but you don't see it unless you drive east to Burning Tree Dr and then take the longer driveway back west. It's worth the extra effort because while you'll miss seeing it from the intersection, but you don't want to miss their food. They brought us chips, a mildly spicy salsa, and bean dip to start. The chips were ok, but the salsa made up for it. We ordered a chicken chimi (one of the best we've had) and chicken mole with a perfect flavor. The pina colada will remind you of the beach and the Coronita (margarita with a mini Corona upside down) was awesome. It was crowded, but we didn't have to wait, although it would have been worth it!

The best Pollo a la Crema I've ever had. My husband ordered the Trio Mexicana and was also very happy with it. Large portions and great flavors!

The customer service is HORRIBLE.We have been reoccurring customers for years at this restaurant. The owner (the woman) has always been rude to us and yet we never understood why. My sister-in-law asked for a side of rice and one of the supporting staff randomly gave us fries? We let them know that we wanted rice and not fries. The owner (the woman) saunters over like she doesn't want to be there and threw the plate of rice at us as if WE are inconveniencing her when all we wanted was rice. She condescendingly said here's your rice without even looking at us and walks off.My daughter ordered the three tacos and the waiter didn't ask whether it was soft or hard tortillas and before the food came out we quickly asked them to make sure that it was soft tortillas. It does NOT say on the menu that the tacos are served hard shell and the waiter never asked what type of taco (soft or hard). They gave her her tacos and then the other owner (the woman's husband) said condescendingly with a face that if we wanted soft tacos then we should've asked and yet nowhere on the menu it says the tacos are automatically served hard shell? My husband calmly and peacefully approached the owner (the husband) and said we want to come back but please don't act rudely when it wasn't our fault regarding the incident with the three tacos order. And all of a sudden, the woman walks over and starts YELLING at our face and saying that it's our fault and started yelling about a subject we weren't even talking about (the three tacos). She started going up to my face and called me all sorts of names. She says that every time I come here I always cause problems. Yet, I'm confused? They've always served us well and I never had problems. It makes me think that she's confusing me with someone else. My sister-in-law was trying to defend me as a person who would never do the things that she says I did and then the woman goes on to say that "well I'm the devil then!" It was getting to the point where it was becoming a yelling fest, so my husband escorted me out and the woman says she hopes I never come back and that she has "plenty" of customers. Well... I can tell you right now that I will NEVER come back so she gets her wish.

I don't normally leave reviews but after the exceptional rudeness my friend, our children and I experienced I decided I had to let others know. The location is fine, the food is ok - I had the tacos - one adobado, one carne asada and one chicharron. I enjoyed the chicharron taco. The beans and rice were not exactly to my taste-- there are a variety of Mexican restaurants in the Parker, Franktown area and these weren't my favorite. Perhaps my recollection of the taste was more than marginally influenced by the awful service. My kid ordered something that she didn't actually want (there was no description on the menu). When she received the order, she politely asked if she could have something different. The server snatched the plate away, even as I offered to just pay for the entree. One of the other children with us received the wrong order. We spoke with some of the supporting waitstaff about this but I'm not sure that they understood what we wanted. The main server came back then told us "I've already been here twice, this is the third time I'm coming over here you sure there isn't anything else" in an incredibly condescending tone. I tried to apologize -- however she ignored us and walked off. Needless to say I was shocked, and so was my friend as well as our kids. There are literally dozens of the same type of restaurant in this area-- why alienate paying customers?Needless to say, we won't be back.

My son and I had dinner at El Cerrito last night and it was a waste of money. The food was subpar at best but the cost was outrageous. For a basic enchilada it was $5.99. That was for cheese only and it had probably 1 tablespoon of cheese in it. Another $5.99 for a chicken enchilada with probably 1 tablespoon of chicken in it. $4.99 for a half of a cup of rice that was very bland. So, 17 dollars for ultra basic, bland, food. My son had tacos and they were mediocre. Overall the $47.00 dinner was not worth it and we left very unhappy.

Went there for the first time this week, service was okay but the food was horrible. Especially considering the high prices. I would recommend Taco Bell over this place any day of the week.
