Eddyline Restaurant at South Main

The beer is amazing. The food is okay. I was really hoping to enjoy my burger since this is what they are known for but I didn't find it to be anything great. Lacked flavor and was really dry. Super bland but their sweet potato fries were great. However this is a great spot for a beer!!!

Great location in buena vista and great beer! Eddyline has become a BV staple for me. I always eat here when I'm in town and it's The aioli in the veggie burger is delicious and pretty spice. The patty itself is flavorful and goes well with the Arugala and other veggies in the burger. The sweet potato fries were some of the best ever and that goes for the ranch too!Everyone was friendly and our food was so fast even though they said they were a little backed up. Also such beautiful art inside. All the paintings were of local mountains and they're for sale.

Been to Buena Vista several times but didn't know this little neighborhood even existed. Called South Main, most of the homes and business are brand new or in the process of being built. Located steps away from the Arkansas River.Sits on a corner of the block and has covered tables on one side and high tops on the other. Both have nice views of the river canon. As you enter, you're asked if you wanted a drink to start off and carded before you sit. The server has your drink order as you are sitting down which is a really nice touch. Good selection of burgers, sandwiches and salads. The fries are think and curly. Good flavor but would go with onion rings or another side next time. Very nice staff who regularly check in an happy to converse with the patrons. I learned a lot about the town and cities to the south. This will be one of the new staples we visit.

Came here with my family while visiting Buena Vista. Everyone enjoyed their food! We really liked their sides - French fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. Even the ranch for dipping was really good! My sister also said she liked their ketchup. I got a lemon raspberry sour to drink which was tasty. Getting our food took a bit, but it was a busy Sunday afternoon so understandable. Staff was still attentive and friendly. It's located in a cute neighborhood/street.

There was too long of a line at the surf Hotel restaurant and we had a family of four in tow and everyone was starving. On a Saturday night most restaurants in BV have a wait and we were so pleased to stumble upon this place across the park from the surf hotel! Half our group we're non-drinkers, so we never thought about going to this breweries restaurant, but we are so glad we did. Absolutely delicious food fresh And timely. Service was friendly and prompt, but not too rushed or too slow. Drinks were enjoyed and kids really loved the food! Will definitely be returning to this place when we come back.

Overall, I'd describe this place as strange. The food is fine and the service is okay, but something that sticks out to me (literally years later) is that the ketchup they brought for an order of fries was not real ketchup. It tasted like overly sweet tomato paste; it lacked the flavor profile of generic ketchup. I can respect a restaurant for attempting to make their own sauces, but this was simply odd. The restaurant itself is conveniently located right by the Arkansas River in downtown BV. There tends to be a wait to get in, but there's a park across the street if you need something to preoccupy yourself with. Inside, there's art created by local artists and general pub fare. Not a bad place to go, but I wouldn't expect a good meal out of the experience.

Not sure why there is no picture of the hippy fries but OMG they are so good. Why didnt I snap a picture??? Imagine big thick cuts of fries with a mixture of queso and green chili on top. People walking by our table were staring at them they looked and tasted so good! We also had salads (Caesar and Southwestern) that were tasty and an IPA and a non alcoholic beer that were great.

The food was incredibly delicious! Absolutely the best mashed potatoes I have ever had. I will definitely go again when I'm in town. Great atmosphere and very helpful staff.

Worst experience I've had. I got wings with sauce on the side, my son got the Dino kids meal... Our server came to our table, really aggressive, asking if we were ready to order as we literally sat down for two-three minutes. we appreciated getting service to get drinks quickly, but she soon came after again and asked if we were ready to order. Did she ask if have been there before and if we had any questions about the menu. I asked her what she would recommend and she did not have a recommendation. Then I said what about the simplest burger? She was just not happy go as she has been with greeting all the other tables that we saw her in the first five minutes of us sitting down. She loves the locals. The person who brought out the wings said "be careful these were in 600° oven to cook. Keep it away from the kids." Fair... but the wings were so overcooked and dry. I tried to eat three pieces and my son had a piece and spit it out. At the end, we told our server about the chicken wings and she said well I cannot take them off of your order because no one has ever complained about our wings. There are two of us who ordered wings and we are huge wing lovers and all of the small towns we go... we then asked our server if we could talk to the manager; but she said that the manager stepped away and wouldn't be available for a while. That's what my friend explained to her about our experience with her, compared to her with the locals and our frustration that she is not able to comp both chicken wings. She then offered a 25% discount. We said we would wait for the manager and then she finally gave us 100% off. It took four of us to explain that we've had the chicken and it was all very dry for her to finally check. Highly not recommended

NEW MENU! I've eaten here many many times. The ambiance is authentic Buena Vista and the service is always good. There's a new menu and it's fantastic. The food is delicious. Generous portions, great sauces, perfectly cooked meat, tasty toppings. It's THE upscale place in BV if there is such a thing. It's the best restaurant in town.
