My favorite part of the library! A partially-outdoor sunroom to enjoy the breeze and gaze at the stunning mountain range along the Springs.

I went to this library today to print out a legal document, that was sent to me in an attachment in an e-mail from Europe. The paper format in the US is different, so we ran into a bunch of technical problems with the printer but Thank Goodness for library assistant Jacinta, who helped me with diligence and patience, we got the job done. Yay!!

We love this PPLD location. The building is big, spacious, and organized. The front of the building has nicely shaded grassy areas for you to sit and read a book. Theres lots of parking available and we like the drive up book drop off.We spend most of our time in the kids section. There's a cute reading area with lots of seating and some toys for little ones to play with. There are tables for coloring and computers with games. There are many other resources available at this library. Every time we come here we find something new. It truly is a gem in our community.

This library is pretty on par with 21C - the mountain views are still exceptional (it's just a little less grandiose since it's not two story), the kids area is set apart and well stocked with a variety of toys and activities for babies, toddlers, and elementary age kids as well as a completely separate area for teens, and there's plenty of other spaces in the library to sit and enjoy the quiet/views. It's hard to decide which one I prefer, and they're both equidistant from my house, so I go to both often. An excellent free resource for the community that I'll be coming to often, and as I've learned, a great destination for indoor entertainment on inclimate days for my kiddo.

I love East library! You can tell the staff really care about the work they do and helping patrons. I absolutely love going to their Fall and Spring book sales. Many books even going for less than 99 cents! They also have tons of events they put on for both kids and adults. East Library is a perfect example of why we need to keep supporting our public libraries. It is a wonderful enrichment to our community.

I love that the Pike Peak Library districts offer a variety of FREE classes. Today, I checked out a Botanical Prints class and had a blast. Both instructors, Cara and another lady (I forget her name :T) were helpful, well-prepared with supplies and instruction sheets, and also fun to chat with.I was very happy with how my art piece turned out!

The kindest, most accommodating staff I have ever experienced at a public library. They answered all my questions, set me up with an account, and even offered to give me a quick tour of the facilities. If you want a stellar experience, interact with the staff and they will enlighten you on all the accommodations this library has to offer.

Very nice library. Plenty of desks with power and very fast Wi-Fi. Many conference rooms available if you need additional privacy. Several clean toilets and very pleasant staff. One of the better libraries in Colorado Springs. Stay away from the downtown library as the parking fees are very high.

This is a really good library. It's clean, well lit, has a fair selection of books, and doesn't look or feel old or decrepit. I am here are usually once a week or every other week. I'm an avid reader so using the library saves me a ton of dough on books and on the occasions that I can find a somewhat new release movie that I want to see, it's great that I can either check it out for three or seven days for free! Such a deal! When I first moved to Colorado Springs, before I had Wi-Fi, I was in there with my computer and I have to say I saw some interesting stuff. The only frustration I had at that point was that it wasn't always a quiet library in the larger seating section. They have quite a variety of clientele there and I don't want to necessarily pick on mentally handicapped, but it seemed like they should have somebody from the library staff monitoring the area on the days they have special visitors, since the special visitors are a little more vocal than your average library patron.Nowadays I don't usually hang out at the library other than to pick stuff up. And occasionally when I get there there are large masses of little people with their parents and the front can get a little chaotic and noisy with "youth chatter", but nothing awful. The staff is friendly. The way libraries work these days is you pretty much usually have to order books in and pick them up, but it works like clockwork and I'm down with the modern library situation, though sometimes I wish I had ESP to know what was coming in so I didn't get something in the day after I took something back! Ha ha.

Love this library. Lots of parking, they're usually a 24 hour Dropbox location for voting ballots and they have nice conference rooms you can reserve. Staff has always been great and it's a nice, large library.
