Douglas County Motor Vehicle

Not fun to have to change documents but the appointment went smoothly. Found parking which was great. Then checked in online for the appointment I made. Received a virtual number and went into the correct room. Short wait and Jenna assisted me. She was friendly and helpful. Guided me through the process. Made it fun. And took a good photo. She also let me know that I could do a walk in to get the title of my car changed. I went to Christine at the front information desk and she gave me a number. Went back to wait and Johanna assisted me. She was in training but all went smoothly. And friendly too. Walked out with all tasks completed. Now all I have to do is wait for the documents to come in the mail.

This was the best DMV experience I have ever had in my entire life. Came in to register my truck I check in at the kiosk go away in the back for literally less than a minute I get called Malik helped me super fast got it done super quick I was out in 10 minutes. Amazing!!

Quality is doing it right when no one is looking. One of the easiest and quickiest experience at a government office, particularly the MVD. If you fill the forms online, it is such an expedited process versus any other MVD I had to suffer through. I was applying for a new drivers license and will be back for my new plates. Waited less than 5 minutes and Toni was efficient, welcoming, and just a pleasure to deal with on a Monday mind you. I don't know if it is just Douglas County or Colorado in general, but they never miss a chance to give up smiles and any new resident will feel welcomed.

I needed to get a duplicate title and register a vehicle. Mikki was my representative and she was professional and went the extra mile to make sure I left with the duplicate title. A Big Thank You to her and her supervisor for helping me!

I hate when people hate their jobs - are miserable and not helpful and purposefully make difficult processes even harder. There's no excuse for saying "I don't know who was helping you" when asked about a simple procedure process that has no relevance as far as who was previously helping someone. Closing out an appointment while someone pulls up a document that takes less than 3 minutes to pull up is unacceptable especially when the process to get an appointment is months out AND doesn't outline the additional need for said document. Super disappointed in my experience here, typically I have great experiences in Castle Rock with any other governmental needs or experiences. Now been here more than an hour and still not helped. Was here on time for my original appointment and had it not been closed out I'd be done by now.

I don't understand the 3 stars. Obviously you have never been to the DMV in California. Where you pack a lunch and spend all day there. And the people are rude!!!Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. Especially Jennifer & Matt in the driver's license department. John in registration was absolutely amazing! Handled everything to become an official resident and driver of Colorado! All in under an hour!!Thanks everyone for your service today!!

TERRIBLE!!!! I would rather have my hemorrhoids removed again rather than visit this DMV. There is absolutely no leadership in this office. The manager would rather hide in her office than come out and speak to a customer that they have misled 5 times. I have been to this office 5 times to register a one owner, original titled vehicle from 1965. I literally could not give them a simpler task. Very, very disappointed in the leadership of this department.

Get with the the program Douglas County and provide permits for teens. Absolutely ridiculous that I had to make an appointment in another town and the only appointment is 3 weeks away. Castle Rock has a large population and is continuing to grow, the Castle Rock office needs to be aware and provide needed services to the population that lives here. I am so disappointed!

This is the slowest DMV in Colorado. I have been here multiple times and it's always painfully slow. The people working are always confused and the overall experience is just terrible
