This library has become my new favorite of those located within Douglas County. Located just off the main thoroughfare, the Castle Pines library is small, but quaint, peaceful, and charming. I love that most of the upstairs is fully dedicated to the children. There's a mail truck, mailbox, and instructions to make a letter. You can even dress up like a mailman and deliver packages. The storytime room is also located on the second floor along with an outdoor seating area. They have games, puzzles, a large chess/checkers set, connect4, etc. they don't have a huge selection of books for kids or adults, but it's a wonderful place to curl up and read. They have private study rooms as well as very clean bathrooms.

I am so glad we live so close to this library! I come here every other week or two to replenish my reading needs. Staff is wonderful and so pleasant. Very spacious library with lot of private study rooms that you can book. They also have a hall that you can book for private events. I really like that they have new desktops with printers for anyone that needs printing done (cheaper than ups). I've spent hours here and Always look forward to coming to the library! If you aren't a member yet, you should get yourself a library card here soon!

I have been a patron of this library for about four years. The temporary space was a bit more cozy than the newly built library that opened a few years back. Downstairs is spacious, with popular magazines, self check out stations, fiction and nonfiction, travel, and cookbooks. There is also a large meeting space that was finally closed off on the western side of the space. Upstairs are children's books and a nice outdoor deck to enjoy the views and beautiful weather! All of the locations of the Douglas County Public Library are very clean and dynamic spaces. However, I prefer this location as it is the closest to my home.

Great new library off Castle Pines Parkway! It is very modern, spacious, and the staff has always asked if I needed assistance. Another cool feature is that you can rent labtop computers easily as well, as they don't have many stationary desktop units. My only complaint is there are always tons of kids in here, and they make plenty of noise. I can't blame the library but its more of an issue with all the families between Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch that frequent this library.

Love this little library! My kids love the story time and the staff is super friendly. With the size, choices will be limited of course, but it is part of the Douglas county library system so you can request items from other libraries and get it quickly.

This is more like a boutique library than a normal public library. They stock an artisanal collection of only the best DVDs and books that Douglas Co libraries has available, ensuring that should the monied elites stoop to visiting a public library they won't find the picked over selection you find at Parker or HR. But since they still allow the 99% in if you are looking for just released movies or say a whole stack of brand new kids Star Wars reader books it's worth the drive.

Wow, hands down the best library I've ever visited due to the solid librarian staff that helped me. A nice lady named Jackie assisted me with three "yes THREE" questions and made my day.

This new library is clean, modern and fresh. Large windows let in ambient light and it is a nice place to read and study. The staff is helpful, especially Jill. She is outstanding and proactive. The only downside to the library is that kids are allowed to play and be noisy. They are pretty well behaved but definitely not the usual library setting adults are used to so for that I only give 4 stars for the facility but 5 stars for the staff.

This little branch library is fabulous. The Douglas County library system is a marvel, and this branch is one of its best. The staff make it what it is. They are always friendly and helpful. The pace is like a home away from home.
