For the price it is a very good place to stay. It's clean and the front desk is very friendly. Drinks are free while you are gambling anywhere in town, but it's almost Work getting a drink here at the double Eagle, Waitresses are nonexistent and so are bartenders most of the time. The furnishings are pretty worn out but for the price it's worth the stay. We had one channel on our TV and Wi-Fi does not exist or at least it might as well not exist. It doesn't work.

I won a jackpot on slots. I waited and waited. Empty Sunday afternoon. Finally I see a worker. I ask if he could at least radio someone. He said "oh that's me. Our machines don't alert us, I just need to see it". No sorry. No apology. I haven't been asked for a drink. Will never play here again.

Avoid this place if you can. Cripple Creek CO is dead. I remember it to be a fun quant town back in the late 90's. 50% of the casinos and store fronts are closed, people are rude, and super strict with all the nanny state rules. Double eagle hotel is four walls and a uncomfortable bed. No functioning A/C. Tried to have coffee in the morning at the restaurant, but the Meth Head who was going to seat us, wouldn't due to our son being in the bathroom. Mind you only three tables had people, and at least 20 tables were empty. Spent only a night and half a day in Cripple Creek, and we can't get out fast enough.

This was quite literally the ONLY restaurant in town serving breakfast that our family (with people under 21) could go to! Thank you for that! Breakfast was hot and good. Service was attentive a d friendly.

Decided to stay the night at the Double Eagle Casino to avoid the long drive to Colorado Springs late at night. We checked in the lobby and saw water was literally pouring from the ceiling. We asked if they noticed and the attendants just nodded... but no wet floor signs were posted. As we checked into our room (4th floor), we noticed the staff cleaning up water that was leaking from the floor above. Our room smelled like cigarettes. Our blankets smelled like cigarettes. The bedding had cigarette burns. This was a non smoking room. The drawers had food crumbs. Needless to say, the room was disgusting. I wasn't expecting much from my room but I sure wasn't expecting to sleep in filth.I do have to say, dinner at the restaurant downstairs was quite delightful.

I have been coming to Double Eagle Casino for years and felt that I needed to post this review regarding my most recent visit. I am a avid gambler and enjoy playing table games. I'm also a long time players card holder. On past visits I was many times treated to nice things for my gambling spend be it a free room or giveaways or whatever. On my most recent visit I took a group of 5 guys here for a birthday celebration. When we decided to play table games I asked for the pit boss to introduce myself. Not only was this new pit boss rude but he wouldn't even take the time to register my players card. I asked him several times and asked him to look up my previous gambling habits at the Double Eagle. He left my players card on the table and wouldn't do a thing. It was a little embarrassing as I brought 5 pretty high rollers with me. We could tell we weren't wanted here and went to a neighboring Casino who appreciates my business and we all gambled thousands of dollars over the course of the evening. We also made the mistake of having dinner at Winfield's. We were brought the wrong wine, steaks were over cooked and the waiter looked like he was 18. It was disappointing to say the least. Not sure why the Double Eagle quit caring about their guests. I threw my players card away and will never return.

Great customer service throughout the building! Great breakfast with the stay! Reasonably priced hotel! The hotel rooms themselves are extremely outdated and definitely needs a remodel!

WOW!!! JUST WOW!!!I have never had such a horrible experience in Cripple Creek, as I have this morning at the Double Eagle Casino. I work in the service industry and have never seen such HORRIBLE guest interaction in my life!!!!!I brought my family, which included my one year old granddaughter, to Lombards for breakfast this morning. We had no problem walking through the casino to get to the restaurant. However......When we finished breakfast, granddaughter's diaper needed changing. We went to the bathroom and no changing table. I can see that...it's a casino....so no changing table?? Ok. But when my daughter came back to let us know, the security guards were standing so close to us that it was INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE!!! We told our daughter just to use her coat on the floor of the handicap stall. She finished changing granddaughter and we started up the stairs to head to the garage area. As we came up, there were yet again more security guards standing in the near vicinity and one even walking towards us. I get how uncooperative people can be....but we have not done anything to be uncooperative!! Weird!!! I stopped and asked the security guard, Linda, if there was a problem. Because it was extremely uncomfortable having security guards make guests feel like they are swarming around them. Linda responded that the casino has been in trouble for minors in the gaming area "a lot" and that this is normal. I responded, "it's normal to make your guests feel uncomfortable when all we were doing was walking through the gaming area to get back to the garage area so we can leave??" And she was smiling the entire time saying she was sorry. How do you smile at your guests while the guests are sharing a real concern for the environment in your casino that is creating an atmosphere of discomfort. Made me feel like Linda had no real willingness to at least hear my concern nor was she understanding at all that we were just walking through to go back to the car?!?! Wow!!!I asked Linda if it was normal for security guards at this establishment to have no awareness around their guests experience?? And why do I have to feel uncomfortable just walking through the casino after eating breakfast and headed back to the car??? All she could say was sorry, with a strange smile?!? This is the last time I will ever come here for any reason!! And if you have any minors in your family, beware of the security guards...they will make you feel absolutely unheard and will not care one bit about it!! And by the way, if this is how Double Eagle Casino addresses infant issues that their having at the casino, it might be a good idea to reevaluate the interaction your staff has with your guests. It's disturbing. I am sure there are better ways of accomplishing the same thing. WARNING!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!

Jacob cannot handle his employees when they are talking rude to my friend, telling him he better watch out when he leaves, and Jacob did nothing about it. You guys need to add more security thing hire people who can handle the job. I called Jake up and he denied everything. He cannot even be trusted. He trusted or say he was sorry for the bad service terrible. and this bitch try to get my friend arrested for staying the night. Jacob is not the one to complain to go straight to his boss. because he cannot handle his employees.

If there was a minus 5 rating, that's what this place deserves. they tell you the prime rib is $15 with a players card which is what it used to be. now they tell you that's the price untill you go to pay, than they tell you that you need to accumulate points. mediocre meal with dreadful service. won't be going there ever again. take the $30 and cram it!
