I 100% disagree with Franny S.'s recent review, and prospective parents should not depend on her review for an accurate assessment of Discovery Kids. My school-aged daughter has been going there since April of 2018 for before-school and after-school care. First of all, the place does NOT smell horrible, and I have never seen anything even remotely resembling animal droppings anywhere. In fact, it often smells awesome in the mornings when you walk in due to the yummy breakfast foods they're cooking. It may not be the newest building around, but the staff always keeps every room I've seen very clean and organized. I've never seen "extremely sick" kids there, though of course any daycare in this city will have kids who are fighting colds etc. ALL of the staff members who work here care greatly about the kids, and I'm not sure what Franny is expecting in terms of them not being "qualified". I have NO reservations whatsoever about the care my daughter is receiving at Discovery Kids.

BEWARE!!!!Where to even begin. Let's start by saying my two children started going to Discovery Kids years ago and they absolutely loved it! Ms. Mel (the manager there) and her family treated my boys as their own and we were excited to have found them and felt at ease knowing our kiddos were being taken care of. Fast-forward 3 years, and turns out one of the "teachers" and my "husband" were participating in an extra-marital affair. Once I learned of this, I met with the owner of Discovery Kids to discuss future plans for my children. Clearly, I was not to leave my children at a facility where their teacher is having a romantic relationship with their father - unknown to me. This is where I warn you of this facility. Not only did the owner DEFEND her "friend" and her actions, she ran to this employee and told her our entire conversation despite her promising me this was a confidential conversation. This led to many other issues. But, the kicker is, not only did she excuse this behavior, she refused to let this employee go, despite my kids not being able to go there any longer; she crossed the professional line in every possible way. I only support businesses with integrity and the owner and her "friend" unfortunately have tainted the hard work of the good people there and do not showcase any ounce of integrity. Enter at your own risk!!! And, hold on to your husbands! Oh, the owner says this employee does the flirty eyes with many of her clients - somehow that is excusable?

We have 2 boys in school here and they both love it. It makes drop-off easy. The teachers all seem nice as they interact, play and care for my boys. Highly recommend.

This place smells horrible. It has a rat and mouse problem, animal droppings around sleeping areas. Kids are allowed to come in extremely sick and kept in the daycare Ill,parents not notified in a timely manner. The staff is not qualified. They have maybe one or two lead teachers, while the rest are teacher aides running classrooms. Under aged staff is left in classrooms. There is never enough staff per classroom. Only 1-2 teachers per classroom full of like 15-20 kids at a time. The kids snacks are very repetitive. The kids are never kept clean, snot running in their mouths. I would not recommend this place at all!!!
