This is what used to be called a seeker-centered church. That means the focus is on the un-churched population. This is not for believers looking to deepen their walk. The music blasts. It's not worship music, but a very loud (ear-bleeding) metal concert. That's cool if it's your thing.

I spent several years 'trying out' various churches in Colorado Springs. I read pastor Gregs' bio prior to attending and so appreciated his honesty regarding all of his baggage but thought infidelity is something I can never forgive...that was 3 years ago. Gregs wife, Stacy, made me see that we're all human, not perfect and that God leads us to that place of forgiveness. I have never found a church I could call home until I found DCC!

My family and I have attended this church a month now....here is the low down. Greeters are friendly, children's ministry is good, the lobby and snacks are great, coffee is good, people are super nice of course, and plenty of parking. Why the 3 stars? Well...as Christians we all love worship and should with our hearts and hands lifted up which is what they do. Worship team sings their hearts out which is great! Its like a high intensity concert every week! Although the volume is set super high that it can hurt your ear drums and it does hurt!! Decibel is deaf level and shakes the entire building!! The worship is sooo loud that it is painful to the ears!! I mean I get it in Heaven worship will be magnificent but I also think in heaven God will make it perfect for every worshiper but for now turn down the volume please so we can sing without covering our ears!!! It felt like a oversized Christian coffee shop that had musicians coming on weekends to entertain. But yes thank you for the ear plugs that they offer if you know about them. Secondly, why is it sooo dark in the sanctuary from beginning to end?? My family brings our bible but we can't read it because the only lights on are the ones pointed to the stage. That is odd and should change. We should be able to be able go read our bibles from where we sit. Now for the messages....ok I get the me too message and that your story is safe here. Everyone's story is safe with Jesus. Most of the messages were about the preacher for about 40 to 45 minutes then the last 15 they would tie in Jesus and the bible verses they would talk about. I am sure the message did reach out to some but shouldn't the message be mostly about Jesus and the stories in the bible rather then the ones teaching? Shouldn't the focus be about Jesus and not our past? I mean I get it share your testimony but shouldn't the crux of the messages be pointing more to Jesus rather then dwelling in our past or rather the preachers past?? Noones past or testimony can save me except Jesus. I dunno maybe I like in depth teaching on the Word of God rather then feeling like a focus group. Shouldn't more of that be done in a home fellowship? Don't get me wrong I know the Holy spirit will work either way but for me more bible and less life stories as the Word is Jesus and the Word never fades. Again messages were not heretical at all just not meaty. Lastly just an admonishment for the church please encourage bible reading and bringing bibles or pasing them out. I know we all got cell phones but still reading the word produces more faith. Most people are on their cell phones too much already on a normal basis. Allow the congregation to follow along and read scripture. I know no church is perfect and i know I am not but this is just a simple review and not to be offensive. All in all a good church with humility. Thanks for reading

This place is a wonderful community of people seeking to follow Jesus daily. It's a very welcoming place for all people whatever their story is, whatever they're struggling with. They truly welcome everyone. The music is amazing and the preaching is great. There is lots of support for families with a great kids and youth ministries. I highly recommend it.

The most amazing place to gather with other Christians to worship God, seek Him, and learn about Him. There really is an atmosphere of everyone being welcome, no judgment- all of us seeking Him! Everyone genuinely cares and is ready to spend some time with God and with others and the music is amazing!

I was always taught communion was sacred and yet this Church does it every week. Now people seem to be doing it obliviously and out of habit. It's mostly after worship and before service. People are feeling obligated to take it while it's being passed down the isle. If they wanted communion every Sunday, it should be an optional and offered before or after service.

Looking for a new church having just relocated to the area. The service today was a sympath session on wonded hearts. Not once was the scriptures taught. A video was shown regarding a woman who shared her hurts. A woman taught from the stage seeming to be near tears with a sorrowful attempt at referencing the protective nature of God. I would suggest visiting with caution. The show today did not reflect any solid Christ centered teaching.

First time I went to this church last week and I gotta say the music was awesome I wish more churches would do the same. I feel this would have made King David proud!!!
