Dillon Dam Brewery

Dillion Dam Brewery has been going on for a long time. I have ate here a lot and it's a very solid option, we had a couple starters that I felt were a little over priced but still got the job done. We were able to grab a reservation for a Friday night during Christmas weekend which means it was definitely packed. I got myself the rodeo burger and it had amazing flavor the fries were seasoned to perfection. The restaurant itself was very inviting and makes you feel like you're in a true ski town and it is awesome. If we're willing to spend a little extra money I would definitely recommend coming to the Dam Brewery.

My husband and I came in for dinner, visiting for the first time and hoping to watch the KState vs Kansas football game. We knew there were no Colorado teams playing at the same time so had a feeling the bartender would be willing to switch a tv to ESPN2 which he did - Thank you!Our waiter in the bar area, Rick, could not have been more attentive. He was amazing! Very helpful with descriptions of the beers on tap and suggestions were spot on. We enjoyed each beer we sampled. Food was very good; portion sizes perfect for the price. It was an excellent experience for our first night in Dillon! We'll be back!

Every time I am in the area I try to stop in for a beer or two. I have never been disappointed in any of the food or beer that I have tried when I was here. They were out of Here's Your Damn IPA so I got the Red Spruce IPA which might be my new favorite, It was an easy drink and had really good flavor. The burger was a large portion and had good flavor as well.

Stop by for happy hours before 6pm. Got seated for 7 right away. Ben is the server who very knowledgeable and hospitable to get water and drink order quickly. Our happy hour ( half price appetizers and $1 off beers) also came out fast. Sausages and sauerkraut are really good. Nacho plate and Brussels sprouts are yummy and filling. Interior is roomy and well decorated. There are also upstairs seating. Restroom is clean. We tried Hefeweizen and English stout and Dam IPA. They are all good.

The ale soup is absolutely fantastic! If you're a fan of French onion soup, this is a must-try.

What a difference a week makes? Should the quality vary so much in so little time? I'm talking' to the owners and managers:#1. When I belly up to a gigantic bar in a brewery, I do not expect to wait more than about 30 seconds before someone says, " Good Afternoon Sir, thank you for joining us! How May I Serve You? We have an excellent offer today at Happy Hour! May I help you with your selection? I waited, and waited, and.....#2. If the bartender is so overwhelmed with the 4:30 crush of 20 or so customers, get additional help. Maybe a manager could get off their butt and assist? Perhaps one of the half dozen wait staff playing grab-ass outside the kitchen could help?#3. I asked the hostess/skater-boy to see a manager. No one appeared, Ever. I waited an hour. Now we know the problem.#4. During my last visit I asked for wings Well Done. I did not ask this time and the same wings were loaded with fatty skin. Gross. How's about you guys ask customers how they'd like their wings? It's called customer service. For $21.50 it's the least you could do!#5. I was surrounded by Other Diners with Issues. Guy to my right was charged double for happy hour hummus. Guy to my left waited 30 minutes for his order, and it was wrong. What is going on? Do you care?#6. What's the deal with providing fresh cut celery with your $21.50 wings? Black gunk? Com'on man, what other corners are you cutting? Has celery become so expensive you cannot serve fresh? Ridiculous!

I came here for dinner and sat at the bar. I ordered the chile verde nachos. It was supposed to have pork. There was not a single piece of meat.The bar tender was rude. After this experience, I probably will not go back.

On a frigid evening in Keystone, we drove to Dillon to check out Dillon Dam Brewery for dinner. It's a popular spot and we found the last parking spot available in their lot. After parking, I was impressed with how the brewery looked from the outside. It looked just as great indoors. After being seated, I started with a flight. It's my go-to at breweries as it allows you to try a good variety of beers. I enjoyed them all and my flight included quite a few different types of beers. I also had their chicken fried chicken which comes with mashed potatoes, green beans, and caramelized onions. The mashed potatoes and green beans are standard with this dish but I've never seen it served with onions. I'm not a fan of onions generally so it took a little work to get them out of the way. The dish itself was solid but the portion size was a little smaller than I expected. Service was standard.

Service was very friendly and charming, but not the most attentive.Our order was slightly messed up by the kitchen, and overall the food was very underwhelming. The ghost rider burger was doused in a honey sriracha which overpowered any other flavors, and the short rib sandwich was pretty dry. The sweet potato fries were a highlight!Overall ambiance was nice but we happened to be seated in a corner away from all TV screens

I was there on a Saturday night as Team USA was playing Team Canada on hockey!The food is great as I love the prime rib when available and then tue Buffalo Chicken Sandwich!Their sweet potatoes fries are amazing and then the good part: the beers::The Sweet Georgia Brown ale and the Chili Like Ale are my favorites!
