Love this campground and the staff. I especially love how well maintained everything is. We have extended our stay twice now and are sad to leave. The sites are great with little deck areas, picnic tables, and fire pits. We got a spot just a couple rows down from the dog park walkway which our pups loved. Great location just a few minutes away from excellent hiking and sight-seeing. Highly recommend!!

There are probably better places, especially if you are looking for something "quiet," but it isn't bad and if you are in a big rig like I am (65 feet long) then you can find a place to park.Campsites are really close to one another. but they do have full hookups for your RV if you need it. The sites are not very level, so make sure you bring some blocks for your jacks (I used them in front). It looks like the sites are decomposed granite and the area isn't that well drained. I had to fill in several small "gullies" right in front of our door so it's a good thing I had a shovel. I might also mention that each site has a fire pit and a picnic table. but since our area was sloped we cancelled our picnic with friends and family until we get to our next campground. They have free Wi-Fi and electric is included, but they don't want you turning on your A/C or streaming movies so keep that in mind. I could only pick up one local station where I was, and even that was in and out. So, bring some sat antennas along if you want some TV and not every site has a clear view of the southern sky either... There are a lot of full time residents, and a fair amount of dogs. They were working on the Shower area and using a skill saw so it was a bit noisy at times. If you want to be close to a lot of places to go and things to do, then this is the place if there is room. I might also mention that you can use Passport America membership here for 5 days which will cut the rate to $18 so that makes it a 4 star deal in a 3 star camp. There are a lot of places close to here like Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Cave of the Winds, Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, Shining Mountain Golf Club, Rainbow Falls, Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, Mueller State Park, the Air Force Academy, and Pike's Peak. And Colorado Springs is about 1/2 hour drive from here. So, all in all not a bad place to stay.

Decent campground. It is a fairly good size park. All dirt sites. Some are fit in where they can which can make for some awkward maneuvering and leveling. They have a playground that our daughter made some fast friends at. Overall pretty good place. The owners seem to be nice but I've heard that some people have had a different experience.

We had a great stay at Diamond Campground! Staff is friendly and campground is spacious and well maintained. We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing week here and will definitely return. Oh yeah and our dog, Kameer, loved the dog play area!

Loved this place. Great people, facilities, and area. A peaceful and natural getaway. Just be careful with the spot you get, and make sure you talk about it on the phone with booking. Our spot was spacious, quiet, and relaxing; but we had to back in between trees and were on a drastic slope. There are signs warning that you are liable for tree damage.

This is by far the best Campground in the area. The cleanest restrooms in town. I have stayed here for many years and keep coming back. There has to be some good reason that keeps bringing me back.

This place is just okay. I'd say 90% of people are permanent residents and the campground is mostly dirt making it very dusty. However, the facilities seem clean, quiet, and dog friendly. WiFi is good and I had great cell reception with Verizon. There is plenty near by, Walmart, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. BEWARE, they'll charge you $10 to check in early and they don't seem super friendly (not rude, just not great customer service). Also, make sure to check your bank account because they charged me twice for our stay. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless nothing else was available.

This place is right next to a MAJOR construction site with tons of workers yelling and construction equipment that sounded like they were doing demolition. Also right next to the highway. Far better places to stay. Lots of personal businesses (people selling things) being done in this campground as well. Many campsites very close together and people living here with dumpy campsites!

Well I'm sure things were clean but I will never stay here again. You can literally reach out and touch the camper next to you. This is not getting away from it all. It's right next to the highway and some building with tons of workers yelling in Spanish and machines running and beeping. Awful.
