Di Rito's Italian Restaurant

Stopping by after visiting the Royal Gorge. Pizza was great, I had the Larrymundo, one of the best pizza I've had.

While visiting my mom for the day, she suggested we try out Di Rito's for lunch. When we arrived we were able to park right outside on the street around 1:30 pm on a Friday. They had a very nice outdoor seating space, right along Main St if you wanted to people watch downtown. We went inside & were greeted immediately, advised she'd be just a couple minutes. We waited only a couple minutes & we're quickly seated by a very nice gentleman. Our waitress arrived very quickly & took our drink order. The lunch menu is pretty small, but did include everything from pasta to pizza. I decided on The "Ricotta Have It" 8" pizza & my mom ordered the Supreme Spaghetti. I felt like their service from start to finish was very fluid. Our food arrived quickly, & our waitress checked on us at a good frequency. The smell of the pizza upon arrival was amazing! It started with the basil, moved to the salami & the cheese, & I was so ready to dig in!!! This pizza did not disappoint & it was a flavorful pie!!! The ricotta cheese came through with a separate 3 cheese flavor, nicely topped off with salami & basil. The only item I would have added to this, in my own kitchen, would have been a balsamic glaze. It was in no way "needed" for this tasty pizza, but I believe it would have amped the flavor even more. The entire experience, from location to staff interaction & of course food, was on point. I will definitely come back & hope to come for dinner to experience that menu!!

This is a landmark restaurant and bar in Canon City. Steady service, enjoyable food and a nice experience. Our last trip here, we sat in the bar and enjoyed a group of people having a great time singing karaoke. No one had a great voice. Watching everyone have a great time singing made it so much fun. Fabulous place in historic Old Town Cañon City, colorado. Our club of 30 popped by with 2 hours notice and food was fabulous! One server and owner serving our group. Food was awesome! Pizza was amazing. One person got an incorrect pizza but was ok with that and they still gave her a whole new pizza. Pasta dishes were delicious. Wine and beer affordable. Quiet enough we could all visit. Excellent food and service!

Wow, what's not to say, we were on vacation in Canon City, CO, and our hotel clerk recommended this place. We entered this little restaurant, we were seated over by the window and greeted buy this nice little server ( I say little, because I'm as old as dirt) After a bit of back and forth conversation getting to know her, I ordered a pizza with a half house salad and my mom ordered a half spaghetti with a meatball and half house salad. The hotel desk clerk said to get the house salad dressing, it did not disappoint. Byq the timqe our food came, there wasn't a seat available and the line outside was growing longer, I see why.Go there if you can. If everything else is as good as what we had, you won't be disappointed. By the way, the portions are huge.

This has to be one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited! The food was incredible! They start you of with some bread and roasted garlic. The roasted garlic is sooooo good! Like blew my mind good. We order the calamari as appetizer and wow, hands down the best calamari I have ever had. The flavor was just right, no to much bread but enough for it to be crunchy, the calamari itself was soft and juicy. I order the gnocchi with white sauce and meatball. DO NOT pass on the Meatball it is soo tasty. The portions are perfect! They have a full or a half plate. A half plate was enough for me. The staff was super friendly and very attentive! Im the restaurant itself feels very homey and cozy! Love this place!

We had a dinner around 5 pm on Saturday 6/8/2024. No wait and food was very good!Our server, Tess was very attentive. We finally found a good family owned Italian restaurant, but it's 1000+ miles away from our home.

Service was good. Food is not authentic Italian, it is fast food Italian at best, food is mid. Don't expect a 5 star restaurant. Would come back

Service was excellent! That's why the 5 star... prices are extremely reasonable. I ordered the basic spaghetti and meatball. I'm a big guy, the half portion was perfect. Ambiance.... It is a dated step up from sub shop. As far as other options, they all look good from what I saw going to the tables. Draft beer was cold.
