Design Works A Floral Studio

After some disappointing flower deliveries, I decided to give this shop a try based on a friend's recommendation. I'm happy to report that I've found my go-to flower delivery service. The person I spoke to when I called was so friendly and assured me that the arrangement would be lovely. When she asked what I wanted and I gave a vague, "colorful and pretty, not so many twigs and filler, maybe with some roses and reds and pinks and oranges...?" she seemed to understand. When I asked for price point recommendations she came with a suggestion much lower than I expected to spend given my past experiences. The flowers were prettier and grander in person than they appear in these photos. They are super fresh and vibrant. The arrangement looks lovely from all angles, front and back. And most of all, the recipient (my mom) was genuinely happy and surprised by them. Points for me, points for this shop.

I can't believe I've waited so long to post a review. Design Works took care of our daughters wedding in 09/2016. The venue alone was quite beautiful- a 3 day event up at Broadmoor's - Cloud Camp. Design Works did an amazing job. People still talk about it. They met with us on site before to discuss every detail. The delivery went without a hitch. The set up more than fabulous. I never will forget my sister in law hurrying me from my room to come look at the breathtaking display they had just completed. We will always be grateful for their professionalism , their knowledge and artistic design and talent. They also kept costs reasonable never taking advantage of us as the customers or for the location of our venue. I will definitely reach out to them for our next affair. And with 3 kids left we hope that's soon! (-:

I was shopping around for Valentines Day flowers and happened to stumble across Design Works. This isn't a conventional flower shop, they mostly do events but were nice enough to make me a bouquet. You know it is a high quality business as soon as you walk through the doors. The smell of flowers, the atmosphere, and staff will make sure you leave happy.

As a wedding florist myself, I was very particular about who I chose for my daughter's destination wedding at The Garden of The Gods Resort. After interviewing several florists and critiquing their work I chose DesignWorks-and they exceeded my expectations in every way! Very friendly and easy to work with, knew just the look we wanted, delivered on time, and went above and beyond in what they provided us. Their work is top notch -the bridal bouquet and floral crown were sheer perfection. The boutonnière and corsages as well. Ellena worked with me on table arrangements and let me ship my containers to her. Every single flower was fresh and artistically arranged. Even after spending the night in a freezing car and driving back to Texas, the arrangement and bouquet I took home look great! Very pleased! My daughter loved everything for her bohemian-style wedding! Photo, taken by a guest, shows how lovely her bouquet and floral crown are.

This place is a joke- their company is based on stealing other people's designs. LMAO!! Plate floral is so much better. But anyway I went in to get flowers for my moms graduation and they didn't have any suggestions or even photos. They told me to go find pictures on Pinterest and they can design the same one. But wouldn't know the price until they did it. I'm that's like bait n switch. And the flowers they did suggest we're all kinds of names I've never heard of- like I'm not a Florist who knows this stuff. So I went somewhere else. The lady who's in the front desk too is condescending and rude too. Like u work at a flower shop- that's no reason for you to act all snotty and stuff.

The people here are so friendly and willing to work with you with what you have in mind. I called a week before the date I was eloping and asked if they could make a bouquet and flower crown for me, Marla was very nice and even asked me how much I wanted to spend. When I got the flowers they were gorgeous!! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for beautiful flowers from caring people.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my Mom's 78th birthday one week ago today. They were delivered the same. They were beautiful, however, they last one week. I buy flowers at King Soopers for myself that last longer; 1-2 weeks sometimes. I am beyond disappointed. This was my first time ordering from DW; previously I always ordered through Rich Designs, however, they no longer do florals & they recommended DW. Completely and utterly dissatisfied. Won't use them again!

I contacted Design Works on short notice to order flowers for a small wedding. I was impressed by the attentiveness and responsiveness of the design professionals (which far exceeded the way in which my similar requests were treated by several other florists) .I provided descriptions of some of my flower/color preferences, a general impression I hoped to achieve and a photo of my dress. On the day of the wedding, I was astonished by the breathtaking and stunning bouquet that Design Works had created and in what an utterly lovely manner they had translated my descriptions into floral magic. The results exceeded my expectations and the price was more than reasonable. The Design Works team is gifted and it is evident that they take great pride in creating an exceptional product without regard to relative project budget. A wedding is a snapshot moment, but Design Works' attention to detail and exceptional result makes me feel as if they are the ONLY florist to which I will resort in the future for all my professional or personal events and floral needs. This is the place you go to when you want something special. I personally do not care for the typical FTD type arrangement's. They are all so expensive and so much the same.The web site is wonderful and easy to navigate. You will see right away a difference from all the others. Michelle was absolutely fantastic on the phone. She was professional and yet very personable. She really spent time with me. I feel I got so much more for my money!!!! Thank you. I know my Daughter will love them.
