Denver Liquor Galaxy

I really like this neighborhood liquor store which I can get to on foot from my house. This is no mega store alright and yet they do carry decent selection when it comes to wine and other alcohol. And most of all, the customer service is really good!I went there today (Jan 8, 2021) to get a cheap and yet quality red wine. While I was standing in front of a Mexican wine one of the workers who was assisting a different customer came by to show him some wine located nearby and quickly talked to me saying, "That's a really good Petite Syrah from Mexico!" When I was in a different section of wine 5 minutes later the same worker walked by and checked up on me again!Since I had never had a wine from Mexico (Baja California to be exact), I took the worker's suggestion by picking up the Mexican Petite Syrah as it was only $10. The checker at the register was also very pleasant/nice/courteous as he carried a friendly conversation with me. He was also very patient with me when I was clumsy with the credit card machine (ha ha!) There is always that one store that you like that's located very close to your house; for me this is definitely the one. I continue to support them as long as I continue to live in the neighboring. This liquor store is a galaxy of spirits, beer, wine, you name it and has the best staff around! I live in the Hampden Heights area and this store is only 2 miles from the house and is always stocked with anything you need. It's conveniently located off of Hamden & Yosemite with plenty of parking and several registers with a full staff so you rarely need to wait longer than a minute or two. The best part of shopping here is the rewards program they implemented about a year ago. You get 1 point for every dollar you spend and $100 = $5 off. I've also shopped at Total Wine many times and part of their rewards program but since becoming a rewards member with them over 5 years ago I have yet to get a discount. The pricing is cheaper than any stores in the areas and they also offer delivery! I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a direct mail piece a couple of weeks ago for 10% off my next purchase.Great job knowing who your target customers are! Also for figuring out how to keep those of us who like to escape to a far away galaxy with a few cocktails coming back for more! Wishing this store continued success and appreciate all of the staff

Had an amazing experience looking for a bourbon for a friends birthday. I asked for help and the team hooked me up with a great hard to find bourbon. My friend said he had been looking for this bourbon all over colorado and couldn't find it in the 7 years being here.Awesome team and store

Decent selection but I can't abide by the "you break it you pay for it" signs everywhere 1- such signs are bull****. They would have to sue you and if they did no court is going to buy the unilateral contract 2- as long as you aren't negligent (I.e being really careless) a store isn't going toGet you to buy crap.3- no court would make you pay MSRP at most you would owe the replacement cost from their supplier I don't know when they put up the signs but I didn't see them last time. If you find you have broken something there make sure you don't buy on the spot. Tell them to go ahead and sue you Or better yet, to to a friendlier place

Another cool Liquor store close to my home. This one is large and has a lot of items to chose from. Staff is super friendly and helpful. And the priced are good to.

We come here all the time and all the staff and manager knows us but today we came during a blizzard. Drove in the winter storm and the guy at the cashier(Erick) was extremely rude. Never have i ever experienced this at this liquor store. Everyone is friendly and helpful bit this Eric guy who looked like high schooler treated us like second class citizens. We come here all the time because it's close to our house and like coming here because of the different variety of alcohol. Everyone is nice and even recommends us new things to try. I will never set foot in this store after today's incident. Extremely rude service from Eric i don't know if he was angry he had to work during a storm but i also work in the service industry and never have i ever encountered someone like this.

The sign on the door said to have your ID ready if you are under 30. I'm 31 and the liars carded me anyway. :(Seriously though, huge selection, very efficient layout. I was in and out in 2 minutes.

Being known as the "party animal" means knowing and having a good selection of beer, wine and liquor at any party/bbq. To do that, one must travel to the galaxy. DENVER LIQUOR GALAXY.From the moment my boyfriend and I set foot into this massive liquor warehouse, we were impressed by the following things:1. The massive selection. HOLY LIQUOR. Everything you could ever want is here.2. Staff is helpful. 100%. When we couldn't find a particular liquor for a friends party, a team member jumped right up and grabbed it for us. awesome :)3. Prices are much better than the surrounding liquor stores. i'm always one for a good deal.4. Location is decent and super close to me!

went in today after work got $30 worth of stuff guy rang me up I payed after transaction was done asked if I wanted a bag I said sure then proceeded to get an attitude and tell me next time I need to tell him sooner cause bags are 10 cents I told him keep the bag I don't know your process but in the future ask people before you take there money so needless to say after all that I won't buy anything else cause no need for an attitude over a 10cent bag however i will not be giving anymore of my business here. To many other places to go .
