Named after Julia DeKoevend, who homesteaded the land before the turn of the century is a very large park on the south side of the city of Centennial. It has multiple playgrounds, ball fields, tennis courts and pavilions. Motorized traffic can enter on University street next to Goodson Rec Center. Pedestrians and Bicycles can use the popular Highland Canal Trail that intersects and traverses several sections of the park. I really enjoy every time I come here and intend to come here much more.

This a wonderful park that's right on the High Line Canal. It has playgrounds, basketball, tennis courts and plenty of walking paths. It also has a sneaky "tot lot" which is a playground aimed for littles. I've been coming to this park for a long time and never knew it existed so figured I would write a review to help others find it. It's slightly disconnected from the rest of the park but a great way to get some energy out for your little ones.

The playground and the field are very nice. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are closed until further notice due to vandalism. It's probably only a matter of time before this translates to people using the playground, the canal, and the park as a bathroom instead.

I love this park! It's very well kept and laid out nicely. The playground is decent, the trails are exceptional. I loved riding my bike here and walking my dogs. There are public fountains and even a low one for pets. Lots of beautiful grassy areas to have picnics or just to relax. There are several pavilions and grills. Definitely a great place to spend outdoors.

This park is too hard to pronounce. What kind of country are we living in to allow such consonants to be so wrecklessly capitalized IN THE MIDDLE of the name. I mean, cum on. This is 'Merica.

The expansive playground at Julia deKoevend Park is a great example of a 1970s-era play area that still is a super fun place and attracts large crowds on weekends. Recently updated, it features climbing structures, play houses, reclined swings, and many nearby trails to explore. If you're curious to discover more of greater Denver's spectacular play areas, download the iPhone app "Denver Playgrounds & Parks" on the App Store!

This park has everything! Cool Playground for the Kids, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Lots of Green Space, and Awesome Trails. It always seems busy, not too crazy, but it's obvious this is a favorite park for lots of families and those that keep an active lifestyle! I got a chance to walk some of the trails, and although it could get pretty hot in the sun (depending on the time of year/day), the shade from the trees are well worth the walk. Lots of runners, walkers, cyclists, and although I didn't see any, there are equestrians too. Watch out for horse poop! :) For the most part everyone seems to follow good trail etiquette and will let you know if they are going to pass. The kids love the playground, and if you like to shoot some hoops or play tennis, this place has everything. Note: parents/guardians need to watch their kids AND make sure they practice good etiquette themselves. If your kid is doing wrong, please discipline accordingly. Just because you kid is on the playground and throwing stuff they aren't supposed to (and you obviously know this is happening), do something about it.This really is an awesome park! Families and Active Peeps, this is your place!!!!

Went to the local softball game last week- it was the local Rotary club versus the Englewood Lions. Very well lighted ballpark. Plus they have power outlets to help you barbecue your munchies. We watched our friends play ball and had juicy burgers too
