Dart Wars - South Colorado Springs

We decided the day before to check this place out! We weren't disappointed. We had a blast and enjoyed it so much! I gave 4 stars for the following reasons. They need at least two referees on the floor as we were against a bunch of teens that were not honest! They would clearly get hit but they wouldn't leave the field. This happened too many times to count. There was someone up on the protium but that wasn't enough.I get the point of having the upgraded weapons but having only super basic weapons as the included items is messed up. The room they put you in for the brief is way too small and claustrophobic. Smelly teens made it worse. The other reason for the 4 stars is we arrived and they waited 20+ mins to even start. That's a little excessive considering they just opened at noon. There was one worker that blatantly did not want to work there. It was written all over her face and demeanor. Otherwise everything was a blast and we had a great time.

Really fun place! My son and I (and some combination of friends and family) always have a great time. With Safety being #1, I have witnessed the staff ensuring all kids have fun while being safe around younger children. Wear gym clothes or something light because you're gonna sweat if you play lol. You can rent nerf guns for cheap if you do not want to bring your own. They supply all eye protection for free but you can use your own. We had my sons birthday party there and he and his friends had a great time. The staff was phenomenal during it and were in control of the whole schedule and layout; I just paid and let them do everything lol. 5 stars

An awesome experience. I took my four grandchildren to dart Warz this afternoon. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were helpful to explain how to use the equipment, and my grandkids had an awesome experience. The visit was well worth the money spent. The price was extremely reasonable for the experience that we had.

So I'm just saying this because today I went to dart wars with my brother and the guns were not working they were jammed I couldn't even shoot my big ass one I had to exchange it for a small rifle. At least I could shoot it but it would still get jammed and the battery would die real quickly and I like it but I recommend you guys fixing your guns, so people can use it nicely. I mean it's still worth it to go but next time please fix the guns.

So I went for a birthday party and it started fun and I liked it but we had to play for 2 hours then we could eat. But it got so boring after 10 minutes. I feel like this would be a great place for people that like nerf blasters. The staff were very nice but when you were playing they were a bit rude. But other than that it was cool. I would personally never go back because that is not my thing.

The staff were nice, the idea was cool. That's where it ends. Reserved it for a birthday party. Didn't read the fine print - that's on me. Was incredibly disappointed. Let's break down what you get for 350 dollars:1. For 350 dollars, you still need to pay for any decent guns and there's no discount and they are often broken.2. For 350 dollars you only get the "party room" (keep reading for details) for 30 minutes. You do not have access to it until you've been in the facility for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. You can not get in to chill or sit down and talk to guests during the time.3. For 350 dollars, you are playing on teams with other people (including small children you do not know) unless you pay extra to have your own private arena. Not terrible but there's no open time to just play Nerf with people, its all structured tournaments with referees. For 1 hour and 45 minutes non stop.4. For 350 dollars, you get 30 minutes in a room with folding chairs and a table and nothing else. That's the party room.5. For 350 dollars, you MUST get Domino's pizza if you want your guests to eat. That's right - Domino's. The worst pizza choice on Earth.6. For 350 dollars, you have nowhere to sit if you're not playing. Since you can't access the "party room" at all, you're fighting for one of approximately 6 chairs in the lobby. So be ready to stand around doing nothing.7. For 350 dollars, you can't complain or question why you're paying this money. If you tell the owner you feel ripped off, he gets defensive and unprofessional instead of attempting to make it right.These are facts and any response from the facility saying otherwise is a lie. If you want your child to have an amazing birthday, don't do it here. There are tons of other options that are more reasonable, better faculties, better options that are not a waste of your money, where management practices customer service instead of emotional defense.If you really want to pay hundreds of dollars to eat Domino's pizza on folding chairs for exactly 30 minutes, you are going to love this place.

Super cool place for the kids--even some adults! My son and a few of his soccer buddies planned a trip here and they had a great time. They spent close to 2 hours running around trying to blast each other with darts. It's not overly priced and they offer 1 large room and 1 smaller to run around in. For some reason they were only using the smaller room. It seemed a little crowded in there, but I didn't bother to ask why only one room was open. They also offer Nerf gun rentals. NOTE: Be sure to take a look at the pic I posted about banner Nerf guns.

What an incredible place to go have a lot of FUN! This place is just amazing - great staff - great environment and a wonderful experience from start to finish! 100% recommend to all looking for something fun to do!

The fact that the owner will argue with every negative review... smh I under no circumstance did I act any type of way at the birthday party I attended. It's the not welcoming me back but don't even know who I am or which party I attended. This place is a joke and the owner loves to throw out he's retired military, but his behavior and his staff is absolutely deplorable. I wouldn't step foot in this dump again, and if I did, no one would know who I was! This is a joke, the owner a joke, the poor little teenage staff are in trouble if they grow up and behave as they do here! But having a joke of boss, commending the behavior, you'll get far... maybe one day they can be manager of this establishment! I love how the owner will try to debunk EVERY negative review, and will make it seem as if every person who wrote a negative review is lying! You can't make this up, seriously... save your money and take your children elsewhere, anywhere is better then here! Original response from owner deleted! Further demonstrates the type of behavior and service you will receive from here. The owner will not succeed and it is not due to me or anything to do with me or my review. A business man would acknowledge the complaint and try to fix it. If nothing else at least deescalate the situation. I would love to see where this guy is in 5 years. Rest assured it won't be at dart wars, or any other successful business. the mindset isn't there. Not every customer is right, I'm a firm believer in that. But the excuses and justification for poor service will not get the owner far.
