Denise is the best studio owner in Colorado! She is on hand and cares about her company's image and the dancers! A real dance studio with state if the art facility!

Great dance studio!! Ms. Denise is such a charismatic and gifted teacher. A group from our church takes weekly ballet classes with her and she is passionate and caring while she teaches!! Highly recommended!!

This dance studio (mostly the owner Denise) made me hate dance. I danced competitively for 2 years at this studio before I had had enough! Denise belittles the students who do not pay her as much money as the others. She does nothing when other girls at the studio are mean and bratty. Her teachers are way too mean and tough for the type of studio they teach at! Denise is scatterbrained and unorganized. If you are looking for a fantastic studio in the Castle Rock area La Roche Academy of Dance is incredible! I am so happy there!

Our child went to Danza for several years with no problems. Then, about 3 years ago the bottom fell out and things began to go downhill fast. Bills that came in with no explanation and calls were not returned. Classes were cancelled because instructors were walking out and not being replaced. We began to look for another studio and the owner called me and told me she could not guarantee me her instructors would not retaliate against our child because she was planning on leaving. Our child was 12 at the time. During the conversation with the owner she became upset and told me our child, who was one of her best students, would be terminated immediately as a student and would not be allowed to participate in the final production which was only 4 days away, and recital that we had paid for. We had also paid for costumes and rental which we were never reimbursed for. This is certainly not a way to run a business. Finally, I wrote a letter requesting a refund and she never responded.

We had an awful experience with this dance studio. The owner, Denise, is also the teacher. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional and left children in tears. I deeply regret subjecting my child to her behavior. This does not represent what I want my child to strive for, and frankly, its embarrassing that any adult, let alone a business owner, would behave this way ESPECIALLY around kids. What a let down and disappointment!!

This is a great dance studio and our daughter loves it there. Classes are fun and a great challenge. Many types of dance are offered and there are many great people there, making it feel like a dance family. The competitive dance team offers additional dance training and attends 5 competitions per year. Experience gained from Danza is proving to be very positive and we are thrilled to have found Danza for her training.

If you don't mind classes canceled (with no refunds), teachers leaving and not being replaced (also that you paid for), inept teachers, no communication with a huge helping of drama and stress created by the owner... then Danza is the place for you.If you prefer your child learn to dance in a healthy relaxed atmosphere without the constant drama and stress, and without an owner that seems to delight in stomping on the kiddos feelings, then may I suggest you look at other studios. I agree whole heartedly with the review that E.P. posted a year ago. We have been with the studio 8 years.....each year hoping the owner would get her act together. Nothing has changed even after losing most of her students a few years ago.. Things are worse. This year, once again, kids are bailing like rats off a sinking ship...... the owner just does't learn. You can't run a company and treat people the way she does.

I have waited many years to speak out about this studio. During late middle school, in my beginning pointe class my teacher (the studio owner) told me and multiple other students that if "we ever wanted to be dancers we needed to realize that we were too heavy". This is almost a direct quote because I can so vividly remember it to this day. In the following years and even now I have struggled with a severe eating disorder. The only word I can use to fully describe this studio is toxic. Teachers size you up to other dancers and humiliate you in class when you can't compete. My body is made different than many of the "bendy" girls in our class and every day I would get publicly embarrassed and harassed about how I wasn't good enough, teachers physically pushing my hips down farther than they are able to go and holding lighters with FLAMES under my leg in order to get it high enough. I've learned that dance is so much more magical than the cutthroat and hostile energy that Danza Dance once gave it and I hope that this review can help someone to see that as well.

When the owner says "you're a hot mess" to a group of girls 6-10 on dress rehearsal after 5 years dedicated to the dance studio. I am appalled and now know that is why more than half of the studio left a few years ago. The owner needs to adjust her attitude and stop making little girls cry FOR NO REASOn. Shame on you for thinking that you may be a decent human being. There is NO WAY I will EVER speak well of your studio. Honestly, we know the truth now!
