Dance Wonderland

We had been looking for a dance studio and lessons for the last 10 years. Dance wonderland hasaffordable group lessons, a wonderful atmosphere that is playful and welcoming, and most of allan incredible instructor. I was struck by how clearly and simply Naomi broke down the steps of a new dance and makes them accessible to even the most basic beginner. I never felt like I was a very good dancer, but she spends enough time going over the instruction to make sure it is clear and that everyone is having fun. I cannot say enough good things about the atmosphere of her studio or Naomi as an instructor. My husband and I started taking lessons a few months ago and it has brought so much more fun and playfulness to our relationship. Taking dance lessons is one of the best decisions that I've made.

Scott is so talented and is attentive to my goals and is able to break down steps so I can easily follow along.

Our instructor Danny is super knowledgeable and skilled. He's positive and encouraging, helpful when we need to pause to break down steps, had a great dance style suggestion when we were deciding who to book classes with (west coast swing for the win!), and we love talking dance science/physics with him as we're learning.

Can't say enough about how great an instructor Naomi is. Before starting lessons with her I would have rated my dancing ability as 'whatever comes before "beginner"' with the only real dancing ability coming from a good amount of liquid courage.After a few lessons though, I've been really surprised with how much I've actually learned. Naomi is super knowledgeable, passionate, and most importantly - patient. She's well-versed in more dances than I even knew existed and is extremely positive and encouraging for anyone who has an open mind and has a willingness to learn. I definitely recommend Naomi for all levels of dancing ability.

I used to be the most clueless dancer ever--anytime dancing came up in a social scenario, I would fill with dread--and then I discovered Naomi. Her private lessons were cheaper than I expected them to be and, in a short timeframe, she's taken me from "you're the worst dancer ever" to "whoa, you're actually really good!" I've taken her group classes as well and they're a lot of fun--highly recommended!

Naomi recently choreographed the first dance for my wife and me at our wedding. We found her via a Groupon for the first two lessons at a discounted rate. I contacted her three weeks before the wedding and she was incredibly accommodating to our timetable, getting in the discounted lessons, followed by seven more full-length private lessons teaching two dorks with four left feet how to dance for two minutes without looking like complete idiots.She helped us out immensely by editing down our song to cut time and let us rent out the studio to practice privately for an hour as well. We went from having to stare at our feet to being able to confidently perform spins, dips, and a jumping lift. It blew away everyone at our reception and we couldn't be happier.

As an instructor, Naomi worked miracles and taught us a tap routine in roughly six weeks. As a choreographer, she has an innate sense of musicality that is on par with some of the best out there.
