Dainty's Kitchen

I found myself in the Springs area the other week and really hungry. I happened to drive by Dainty's brick and mortar store (no longer at Fort Carson) and did a u turn to go back. They had beef, chicken and veggie patty's - amazing pastries filled with the respective ingredients. The chicken was being cooked soI went for two of the veggie patties. The plan had been to eat them while I was driving to my next appointment. They ended up being so good I did them the justice they deserved and ate them with full attention. I ate half a bag of plantain chips on the side and it was a perfect lunch. The gentleman who helped me was really nice too and obviously and understandably proud of the incredible food they serve.

The best Jamaican food in Colorado Springs...PERIOD! The food here is so full of flavor, herbs, and spices. The variety is crazy but come early or leave with a hungry belly. She normally sells out before 1300/ 1pm.

If you're looking for a quick bite on Carson, Dainty's is as flavorful as it gets. My wife had the oxtail and I had the curry goat. We both had the rice with beans and cabbage. They were out of fried plantains at the time. The only thing I could offer as an improvement to the meal was that the goat could've used a little more curry. Both entrees fell off the bones and the sauce was so delicious with the rice.We went on a Friday which is soul food day and everything we saw looked great. We're definitely going back to try some more dishes.

I've been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The food is good. I'd definitely recommend the curry chicken or the jerk chicken. They also have soul food Friday so what's not to love? The portion sizes are good so you should not leave here hungry.

Now it's on the base and the seating is terrible, and super cheap, the ambiance of this place rivals a low budget highway restroom. The little cheap sound system is not a highlight what so ever rither but,the food is amazing. I personally love the curry goat and have tried the ox tails and jerk chicken all.of which are great and Fridays they have soul food day. The food is amazing but that's where this review ends.

This is the best food you're gonna get on post by far. The restaurant isn't pretty and it doesn't have to be. They make quality food which is more than can be said of any other place to eat on post. I've had better Jamaican food, but this is actually up there. Even though the food is great I would normally only give 4 stars due to environment but it's important to recognize where it's located.

I'm a fan of their hot jerk chicken wings, I eat it every time I go into their business on ft. carson. It's nothing like having a Caribbean joint right outside your office. A1

The food was alright. I work on base and wanted to try something different other than the messhall. I tried the cabbage, oxtails, and beans and rice. All the food could have used more seasoning I think. The owners were nice and do appreciate that. I will give it a try one more time when they are having soul food Friday.

Amazing place, the jerk chicken was so flavorful and the lavender coconut lemonade was very tasty!

Best Jamaican food in the springs! They give a great portion and everything is so tasty.
