We really enjoyed our stay. The view alone is worth it! There's just some things..They say they have a/c and heat but they only supply a tiny heater/fan. That doesn't work most times. We woke up all four nights freezing with three blankets. The lock on our door was also very hard to unlock. We were located at n-1. Levi was the sweetest same with Jill! The indoor pool had a film over it so we didn't use it.We were the first campers of the year so I cannot complain much. Levi made sure we were taken care of for our stay even when we had a family emergency come up. We paid for two more nights and they only refunded one night or offered both nights for there a different time. I was not a fan of that, but they have to make their money and I understand. Levi and Jill were the only two good interactions we had, everyone else didn't seem to happy to be there. I appreciate everything that was done in efforts of our stay and apologies for leaving early.. They just need a few minor fixes and it would be a five star.

We LOVE Cutty's. My friends and I joke that it's kind of like the summer camp from Dirty Dancing, just missing Patrick Swayze. They have cabins, RV spots, and tent spots, so they're perfect for whatever type of camping you're looking to do. For amenities, they have indoor and outdoor pools, mini golf, a small playground, an arcade, laundry room, weekend meals, weekend outdoor movies, a rec center, tennis and basketball courts, shuttleboard, and a general store. They're pretty close to Salida as well, so you can go spend a day by the river and grab some pizza and ice cream (see my other reviews for hints). Cutty's cabins are amazing, I highly recommend them. They're a little pricey, but they have bathrooms and kitchens in them, plus awesome little back decks that overlook the creek. Weekends at Cutty's are amazing. Breakfast and dinner at Joe's make for easy packing, and movies with popcorn and candy sold nearby at night are a great way to end the day. My kids' favorite is to go mini-golfing and then grab some ice cream from the general store afterward. It's a summer tradition for us!

I love this place. No phone service and free wifi if your close enough to the store. My family has stayed here several times. So peacefully and lots of activities onsite.

We came here to join a larger group for camping earlier this month. The pricing for tent camp sites is $35/night, which is very reasonable considering you have access to flushing toilets and showers, along with amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools, and basketball and volleyball courts. We had tent site A14, which was an awesome site as it didn't have neighboring tent sites. We butt up to the Hayden Creek, which added to the ambience, but made it a little difficult to talk to one another because it was a little loud. Each site has a picnic table, which we put a canopy over and we had so much room after putting up 2 tents. Our friends were in A25 & A26, which was a 1 min walk from our site, but the map makes it look so much further. The staff at Cutty's are all so sweet and welcoming. We played bingo in the hall on Saturday and it was a lot of fun. The breakfast and dinner in the rec hall were an added fee, but were very delicious! For breakfast, I had french toast, eggs, and sausage. My friends and hubby had their biscuits & gravy. For dinner, I had the trout, which was moist and delicate. My friend had their chicken which she liked. My other friend and hubby had steak, which was huge and they both liked theirs. The outdoor pool doesn't seem to have a heater so the waterseems to be a little bit colder than some would like. The indoor pool is really warm, but the depth is only 4 ft.The bathrooms and showers are clean. There always seems to be an extra unwrapped roll of toilet paper in each stall everyday, so I assume that the staff is very on top of it. The showers do have extremely hot water, so be careful and don't turn it up too high before getting in.I would recommend that the bathrooms and pools have a tad of an overhaul as the caulking is definitely old and needs to be replaced.

This is a great campground to visit with your family. This campground is a destination itself. There's an indoor and outdoor pool, minigolf, game room, shuffle board, tennis, basketball, hiking trails, a creek, and lots of other stuff too. We had a great time here. It's not on a busy highway either like so many campgrounds, so it's quieter and you don't have to worry as much about your kids running onto a highway.Hayden Pass is a beautiful drive too if you want to explore the area some.

We stayed here over the weekend and it was just the perfect place. Our cabin was warm and cozy while it rained outside. There's no signals in the mountains so don't expect to post on social media. But the main office does provide free WiFi. Overall a great place for friends and families to spend quality time.

We went with my 2 kids and 4 grandkids. It was an awesome long weekend! My son stayed in one of the cozy cabins with his daughters and my daughter stayed in the retro trailer with her sons. We were supposed to be in one of the full hook up sites but our truck broke 2 days before the trip. The staff was so accommodating and moved us to a tent site that was right in front of the retro trailer. We think it actually worked out better to be close by and in a tent than it would have been to have our 5th wheel trailer! My grandkids (4,6.8.10) LOVED Cutty's and all of the activities. I think they tried everything but migrated to the mini golf, pool and that cute town at the playground. They played in that thing for hours. Pros: - Super awesome staff and they are always smiling! They would stop on the golf carts to ask if we needed anything.- Cozy cabin was perfect for one adult and two kids (8, 10) Younger kids might fall out of the loft- Cabin and Retro trailer were very clean and had the basic supplies.- The store!! It looks small but it sure came in handy with all of the things we forgot! We are used to having our fully loaded 5th wheel so going back to a tent was hard when I was packing up stuff!- The pools and bathrooms were clean and well kept up.- Mini golf course is really good - they've had a lot of rain lately so it was a little dirty but still playable. One of the better courses we've played at a campground.- The game room has quite a few arcade games and ping pong. Sadly the air hockey table was broken - we were looking forward to playing that so that was disappointing. They do need to put a sign up that says it is out of order.- Nice tennis/pickleball/basketball courts! Cornhole and washer boards were fun.Cons:- Bed in the cabin was uncomfortable and super squeaky with movement- Need more chairs for the table in the cabin. It was raining pretty hard and we wanted to play cards but only had the 2 chairs. 2 extra would have been nice since it's supposed to sleep 4.- Retro trailer bathroom is a little outdated but functional. Pull out sofa is very unstable and would only sleep one adult. It needs to be secured to the floor so it doesn't tip when you move to the pulled out part. Thankfully my son-in-law had to cancel because there wouldn't have been room for 2 adults and 2 kids (4, 6) to sleep.Overall we LOVED Cutty's and are looking forward to coming back. The family atmosphere and rustic 70's era feeling but with modern amenities made for a memorable family vacation.

Sites could be improved - trees so close very difficult to maneuver trailer into the site. Two trees at the site look like they are routinely hit with chunks of bark missing. No flat space for picnic bench, lots of large rocks to trip on, bathrooms were dirty- lots of bugs, terrible water pressure. On the plus side there is no WiFi or cell service, so you really are off the grid. And nice star gazing.
