Cultureclash

I found it amazing that a visitor to Cultureclash would find the staff "snotty". I've watched and listened to the gallery people care for all kinds of folks dressed in all kinds of clothes. No sign of arrogance. Maybe the critic was too busy being a "Coaster" attituder??Wish her and her wealthy friend a peaceful, gentle, softly spoken day.

Excellent gallery, super snotty and unwelcoming owner/attendant. Even when asked about the artist of a piece, all I got was "they are not from here...we've carried their work for a long time." Even after buying a couple small pieces, no offer of who the artist was or any other information. I was half tempted to just buy the majority of the gallery in a Pretty Woman-esque snit. Yes, we were wearing athletic wear after a day in the mountains and perhaps did not seem up to snuff. But, I'm an artist and I collect art on all my travels, and my traveling companion also has a massive, high-end folk and American art collection, so...way to go, shop.
