I came to this church unsure if the people would be welcoming to a single military soldier who was completely new to the area, but was absolutely blown away by the community and love shown by everyone. God is moving in this church, and if you're debating on coming or not, give it a shot!! The Lord gave me a fantastic group of people and a new family to worship with and I couldn't be more thankful that he did so.

Being a military family we move often which means having to now find a new spot for things like hair cuts, doctors and most importantly a church to call home. Normally this is a process for me and have to try anywhere between 3-5 churches before I feel at home. When I first came to Cross Creek almost 2 years ago I knew from day one, this was it. Everyone was so welcoming from day one and the pastors preach in such a way that we can relate to the word in everyday life yet it is the word of God. This is certainly a place to belong and the youth groups are amazing! Love this church!

Being a military family, finding a church we love every time we move is usually a long process but not this time. Cross creek is such a family and military friendly church, the minute we stepped through the doors we knew this would be our church. We have since pcsd but pray that someday we can come back and it will be like we never left.

If you haven't found your church that you can call home. You should give our church a try. I walked in almost 2 years ago and was welcomed with loving arms. We have an incredible youth program from school aged all the way to college. These people here aren't just "church" people that don't know you. These people are my family and it truly is a place to belong.

This place is for any family that is wanting to experience a place to feel loved and pursued by God and His people. Great leadership, Godly people, accepting hearts and relaxed environment!!! Every family should give Cross Creek a look and I know they would not regret it.

This is a great church! I have gone there for years and love all the great changes that have happened. The worship is awesome and the children's and youth programs are great too! There are life groups that meet during the week and are a great way to get to know other Cross Creekers!

First, let me say that I'm an older person who was just visiting, so bear that in mind. My rating isn't reflective of the teaching or of the church as a whole, since I'm not part of the church. It's mostly for the worship part.It seems like a very friendly place. It's a very young congregation, so I felt a bit out of place, but I was wanting to encourage my adult kids who don't attend church anywhere, but live here, to attend it, so I went first to check it out. It seems they have a lot of really good things going on at Cross Creek, and people seem to get involved. I've attended twice this summer, as well as a few other churches in the COS area. While the teaching at all the churches in the COS area I've attended have been excellent, including at Cross Creek, the one thing that I have found to be very disheartening in all of them is the "worship" part. It seems that almost every reformed church I've scouted out in the area has the same type of worship service, which means, concert mode.Though the lead singer in the band at this church is talented enough to cut his own album, when did the church decide that it was okay for the worship leaders to be getting all the glory? (again, nothing against this particular worship team, but the church as a whole). If the worship leaders would open their eyes and peer into the darkness (that's another issue), where everyone is standing, maybe they would see just how few people are actually joining them in singing. In fact, both times I visited Cross Creek, I saw nobody singing along. Not a single person as far as I could see in the dark, was moving their mouth. The reason is because the music is so loud that nobody else's voices can be heard above the worship team's, so why bother? I doubt the worship leaders even realize this. That part of the service is either something to be entertained by, or something to be endured (for me, it was the latter). Corporate worship is dying in America, and that is a very sad reality. Worship teams are becoming "glory hogs" and taking the attention off of God and putting it onto themselves, often singing songs that were written for one person to sing on an album, rather than for congregations to sing in unison. It's when we hear the voices of our fellow believer lifted up to God, that we are fueled for even more worship of Him. But when a select few are up on a well lit stage, with their voices and instruments amped up and the fog machine pumping out "ambiance", it's really just a Christian rock concert at that point, and the fellow church-goers are merely spectators.Aside from the concert part of the service, the teaching here is very, very good and biblically solid, and it's worth going just for that. But if they would unplug the amps and turn the lights on so as to take some of the attention off the band and put more onto the church as a whole body worshiping together, it would be a church worth calling home. But as is, for my last few weeks in the area, I think I'll keep searching.
