Crestmoor Park

We had an employee summer bbq at this park recently! its a great space, lots of shaded areas, picnic tables etc. it definitely could use more than one area of grills though. we arrived early, and there was already a huge party at the area where there were grills, so we had to go and get our huge grill from home. otherwise it was a perfect place to bring employees, family and friends for a day of fun, relaxation and good food. There is a playground for kids, picnic tables and some grills, bathrooms/port-o-pottys, tennis area, soccer nets and lots of open space to set up your own little games like volleyball, and lawn-games.

I took advantage of a break in the rain to head over to Crestmoor Park and get a little exercise in. Crestmoor has a paved trail around (and through) the park, and one lap around at a moderate pace took about 20 minutes. The park also offers a nice playground, benches throughout, a couple picnic areas, tennis courts, baseball fields, and tons of green space for the dogs. All the beautiful cherry trees and evergreens added to the park's beauty, and made for a nice afternoon. Recommended!

Even though we have to cross the two thoroughfares of Leetsdale and Alameda to get there, Crestmoor Park is in our regular dog walk rotation. Millie Grace loves to meander through the trees to track smells and try her luck at catching a squirrel. I like to gaze upon the lovely and luxurious houses on Kearney Street and Southmoor Drive as we loop around the park.But there's more to do at Crestmoor than just walk around. A few tennis courts and a softball field are located in the southeast corner and two additional softball fields are located in the southwest corner. In between sits the playground and some restrooms. A shady picnic area is situated on the east side of the park. The rest of grassy areas are dedicated to soccer fields. The park is positively covered up with kids and their cheering parents during soccer season.When there aren't any soccer games happening, the park is pretty quiet, except for the traffic noise along Monaco. All in all, Crestmoor is the perfect neighborhood park.

Nice large, clean park, great for dog walking. It was not too crowded even on a warm Sunday afternoon, so it was perfect! Added bonus there's some beautiful homes surrounding the park as part of the view.
