Creekside Chalet review: 5 stars. Honestly, 6 if I could. The hot tub alone deserves its own award--basically a therapy session with jets. The place was so clean, I half expected a cleaning fairy to waltz in and curtsy. The furniture and beds? Comfier than a post-Thanksgiving nap. Pillows? Fluffier than a baby alpaca. And those clear plastic boxes for extra bedding? Pure organizational wizardry. Marie Kondo would weep.Cozy blankets made me consider quitting my job and becoming a professional blanket burrito. Pet friendly too--complete with poop bags and couch covers so my dog could live her best life and I didn't have to wrestle her off the sofa like a WWE match.The smoking station on the back porch? Genius. Keeps butts out of nature while still letting smokers feel fancy. The kitchen? Huge table, solid chairs, and a crockpot that made me feel like I'd been transported to a cooking show. Quality pots and pans for days, but only four coffee mugs. FOUR. For a whole chalet. Are we hosting an exclusive espresso club? And one dish towel? My sponge practically filed a complaint.Here's the kicker: it snowed overnight the first night, and by the time we came back from skiing, the walkway was shoveled and the hot tub lid was cleared off like some magical snow-removal ninja had swung by. Honestly, it felt like Santa was moonlighting as chalet maintenance.We did lose heat the first night for a few hours, which gave us an unexpected "polar survival" experience, but those thick duvets were life-savers. Overall, 10/10. Already plotting how to make this my permanent address.

Love this place. Would go back in a minute. The campsites by the river are so well kept and peaceful. I loved the sound of the river through the night. The entire place is immaculate and plenty of things to enjoy. Kids have a nice play area as well.

We have stayed at Creekside twice now, once in December and once in July, and absolutely loved it both times!! The cabins are a great size, totally clean, and we love the private hot tubs and ability to rent a propane fire pit for the day. The internet is not the strongest, so I recommend downloading any maps, shows, or movies before you arrive or while in town. Then the airplay to the tv works great for movie night. We'll be back, for sure!

Creekside Chalets is the perfect mountain getaway and truly a gem of the rockies! Far enough from Salida to feel secluded, yet close enough to where driving to town is not a chore. My wife and I stayed in their one-bedroom chalet for our anniversary weekend. It was the perfect place to disconnect from technology and reconnect with each other. The property is right on the creek, which allows for calm relaxing walks around. The chalets are stocked with pots, pans, shower products, and everything you would need to cook a meal! Additionally, the wifi isnt that great, however I see that as a plus as it kept us away from our phones. This will become a regular visit for us every year!

This is definitely the best option to Monarch Mountain. Everything is nice and clean and plenty of space. It is also dog friendly, which is a huge bonus. There are a good amount of kitchen items to use. The hot tub is good sized and nice to have as an amenity. The staff is very responsive also. We will be going back. Only bummer is that they book up quickly. Great problem for them to have though.

Great location. The hospitality was top notch. Excellent communication and guest service. The grounds are well kept and lots of places for kids to play. Will definitely stay again.

Nice property, well appointed and comfortable. The property was clean and everything was in good working order. The only negative was WiFi reception (probably related to service availability)

Nice location near good fishing and hiking. A lot of highway noise as it's right on highway 50. We enjoyed our time there.

Great location just a lot of confusion! No sign anywhere that says no fires yet when I call I was told no open flames however the people renting the house across from us had an open flame fire every night! Was told there was WiFi because the cell signal is horrible there. Not a negative for me but if you have WiFi provide the password for your guest don't make us have to call. Another negative was no main site where you could go to with questions. Also no bathrooms! Just a portable potty which I will say was clean. However we stayed five days. Wish I would known ahead time that there were no showers. It truly is a lovely location just needs to be up front about dos and don'ts

We loved our chalet and the beautiful, private setting. Had a little trouble with the website when booking so called and left a message - worked through it the next day. We will go back - it is one of those places that will be even better the second time because you know what to expect!
