Came here for a company Christmas dinner.Loved it.Every dish was delicious. Appetizers shared- crab cakes, Bacon, bacon Mac and cheese (I licked the spoon - this was the star) , & oysters from Prince Edward Island . My husband had a smoked old fashion - came smoking to the table- lovely and I had champagne of course- we were celebrating. The tomahawk wagu steak (special) was so flavorful and the accompanying sauces perfection. All steak are served with broccoli and mashed potato- even these dishes were fantastic. My husband and I are more savory than sweet people but the Cho chocolate chip bread pudding was so delicious and not overly sweet. It was very comforting and warm and chocolatey.Service was very attentive with water refills constantly and checking our needs. Definitely I will be back and it is perfect for a special evening out.

The food and service was phenomenal during our first visit on Christmas Eve - however, our second visit was a huge disappointment.1. The scallops reeked strongly of ammonia - meaning that they have turned/spoiled.2. My filet was medium rare instead of rare.3. My husband's ribeye was rare instead of medium rare.4. The brussell sprouts tasted nowhere as good as the first visit.I appreciate that the manager refunded the cost of the scallops ($33) and had the kitchen remade my filet, but I don't plan on coming back due to food safety concerns. I'm baffled that the chef did not notice the strong ammonia smell on the scallops.

We were there for our 38th wedding anniversary. The service was exceptional, and everyone was very kind and nice. The only problem I had was the rib eye. It's the only steak I like, and it's my favorite. They told me that's what I was eating when it was clear to me, that I wasn't. The taste was bad, and, it didn't taste anything like any ribeye I'd had before. The oysters were wonderful, and everything else was delicious as well. We've been anxious to return since, but haven't been able to. Our anniversary was two days ago, and look forward to returning back soon.The ambiance was very calming... I hope it improves when we return.

We were celebrating my boyfriend and decided to come here as a treat. His son said this is the best steak house and we had to try it. We made a reservation online and were sat very quickly. This is by far the nicest steak house in Colorado Springs.We ordered a drink, I got the summer spritzer. It has a great strawberry taste and was very strong. They told me the drink menu was changing soon so I was lucky I got to try it! After we ordered our meals they served us a palette cleanser, it was delicious like a corn mash. Then they served us bread with whipped butter and hawiian salt, the butter was so good! The salt had a nice crunch to it and the bread was perfect, so soft on the inside. We shared the crab cakes, the sauce served with it was divine and paired so well. They do have a kids menu, just have to ask.We decided to share the 40oz porterhouse and so glad that we did! Half was New York strip and the other filet. The Filet was my favorite, so tender and flavorful. They even had cut it before they brought it out and served it to us. It took awhile for us to get our food but it was a large steak. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the broccoli soft. We chose the Mac n cheese as our side, the taste of the truffle was not overwhelming and the sauce was creamy. It also had bits of bacon. All the food was beyond amazing but this is the best steak I've ever had.When we were done they boxed up the food for us and gave us a ticket. It was so convenient and they gave us the food when we were leaving. Overall it was the best experience we have had at a steak house. Great staff and food. We will definitely be back. Already raving to our friends about this place.

Celebrated our anniversary here. Everyone made us feel so special! The steak was superb!! The service was great, staff were attentive. The ambiance was also nice.

Cowboy Star was a stunning dining experience on a cold Colorado night. Rebecca took us on a journey through the menu then my gf, the love of my life, got the salmon while I went with the filet. The mashed potatoes with the filet had me question all the times I've ever made mashed potatoes. It was a perfect night and can't wait to see Rebecca again. Thank you so much chefs. Next time I'm bringing my parents but won't fight for the check.

This place is very impressive. Great service, the food is cooked to perfection and ambience is amazing. The staff greats you and very attentive. One of the best steakhouse in Colorado Springs.

Came here to celebrate our anniversary dinner. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was made to order and timely. The ambiance is classy and has a business casual dress code. The memorable experience was highlighted by the ambiance and detail of the staff. It was cool to receive a rose and handwritten letter from the team. Our food was good and did the job. Would recommend for a treat to yourself but would just come here once in a while.

What a cute spot! We stopped by for happy hour and the apps were amazing and the drinks were great! They have cozy chairs, couches, and a fire pit! We can't wait to try the dinner next! Our waiter was also amazing!

The food was phenomenal! We tried the oysters and the ribeye Oscar style, everything was prepared perfect and tasted lovely. The French onion soup was not our style (which is fine!) but the host, server, chefs, bussers, food runners and management were extremely attentive and kind, from wine service to customer satisfaction to perfectly cooked steak to table maintenance. This will absolutely be our new date spot in the future!!
