Our family loves this place. Our son uses the Right Step program which focuses on therapeutic riding for special needs kids. My daughter has taken lessons through Coventry Farms for a-typical children. In both programs, they meet the child where they are at and then make them stronger. They also have a handful of summer camps that my daughter just loves. It is amazing the power that these animals have had on both my children. My son couldn't walk before we started and we were told he may never walk. Through this program, he became so much stronger that he is not only walking, but almost running. My daughter has a peace about herself when she is here. It is amazing that I have to fight her to clean her room, but here she couldn't be happier to clean after any horse.

I called and reserved a stall a week in advance, and once we arrived, we were informed that they had no room for my horse, so we had to scramble to find a different place to stay.

We are happy to have found this fabulous barn. Coming from California, we visited or tried out 4 barns before deciding on Coventry. Our daughter has made so much progress in her riding and she is surrounded by professionals who know what it takes to create great horsemanship and instill the skills needed to compete. The McConnells are are real as it gets and have years of experience as riders themselves. There is a calmness and sense of dedication to the art of horsemanship here, and it's FUN. No struggle for space in the arenas. No drama amongst the employees. And wonderful, calm horses!, unlike other barns that treat their animals as commodities to be used and used even against their best interests in order to generate income. Coventry also houses The Right Step, a therapeutic riding program, and Tall Horse Riding Club, a team of two trainers who are professional and well-rounded and teach much more than the act of riding. The riders at Coventry learn what it means to be responsible for other living beings, to have compassion and take responsibility for their own actions. These are life-long lessons. I applaud those at Coventry for being aware of what it takes to promote personal responsibility and a strong work ethic in their riders.
