I absolutely love this place! I've been lucky enough to have a studio here for the past few months and I love coming into Cottonwood Center for the Arts every time! The staff is incredibly dedicated to the center, studio artists, and future of Cottonwood. I see it grow more and more every week. They have fantastic exhibits to enter monthly open to the public. However, the sense of community is what I love about it the most. Great job Cottonwood Center for the Arts!

On our way from Steamboat to Texas and wanting to make a stop in Colorado Springs, we came across this Gem of a place....incredible local art of all kinds and Genres! It was very close to end of day and Jo welcomed us with open arms three kids under 11 and all!!! My kiddos are still inspired and continue to talk about there favorite pieces. Thank you for creating a place to buy beautiful pieces and the ability to interact with the artists. We will be back!

Such a wonderful atmosphere. Incredible artists and a great place to go when they host events. Beauty, culture, and romance all in the same place!

I just moved from LA to here and wanted to check out some local art classes, I showed up the day of to ask about whether or not I could still sign up since online it says you can. First of all, I'm a patron of the arts in LA from the Getty to MOCA so I didn't appreciate the rude attitude from the people at the front desk when I arrived, they were eyeballing me in a very racist looking way while at the same time ignoring the fact that I was standing right in front of then patiently waiting for acknowledgment. When the stuck up old woman in an obvious Ross knock off finally acknowleged me she did a once over glance (it's Colorado and freezing since it's winter and I was bundled up) like I was a criminal or something, rude doesn't encompass this ladies lack of professionalism nor her acerbic attitude- I explained the situation she looked at me like she couldn't believe I was asking if there was still room in the class and handed me a business card for the lady who is supposedly in charge of that program-at this point I was thinking nope, I'll spend my money elsewhere. Great job at making potential clients never want to deal with your organization, especially people new to this town.

Everyone should boycott this place indefinitely. I went to an event they scheduled months ago & promoted. Absolutely no one from the org showed up. The other attendees were angry too. Doors locked. We all waited outside a half-hour extra. I found out later that they had taken down the event posters inside! So they canceled the event in advance & purposely did not notify attendees (Eventbrite = super easy to notify) out of some weird mix of spite & incompetence. Other folks told us later that this org does this often for different events w/ no explanation or apology EVER! Some drove an hour like me just for this event, so they would need a loan to comp these people at current gas prices! BOYCOTT them into non-existence!

I love Cottonwood! It's a great place to take kids and family, and I love finding gifts there around the holidays. Plus, it's totally free to visit, and that's a big plus.
