Community Congregational Church of Manitou Springs

Came to this church on Xmas eve with some friends for the musical service. I am not religious, but I enjoy live music in all its forms and I am a total sucker for organ music. That's all I needed to know to agree to the service. I was pleasantly surprised by the architecture of this little gem. Immediately upon arrival all I could see was the illuminated stained windows and stonework. Upon entering the ceilings' beams were the first thing I noticed, this is truly a wonderful little gem in the heart of Manitou. It was wonderful not only to hear the wonderful music and songs floating thru the nave, but it was also a feast for the eyes. The candle light song at the end was especially suggestive as it gave me a good sense of what this church must have truly looked and felt when it was first built in the late 1800's.

This is probably the friendliest, most welcoming, and inclusive churches/congregations in the area. Lots of good stuff into the community, not all about church members. Recent changes certainly have increased the fellowship, family fun, and community outreach...thank you!

This is definitely one of the oldest and outdates churches I have ever been to. There's really nothing special to it besides that it's the oldest congregational church in Colorado. Other than that, the structure and decor is too outdated for my taste. But it holds a different value to those who live and grew up in this area. It's sentimental.

We got married at Community Congregational Church. It was absolutely fantastic! Their wonderful event planner and her team of people were dedicated to carrying out my vision for the wedding. They took so much stress off my plate by setting up the reception and decorating tables for me. They also took care of little details on the day of (like setting up the guest book) and ushered the whole day to go smoothly.I know weddings always have something go wrong, but my dream wedding went so smoothly thanks to Community Congregational. The venue is beautiful, and it was a dream to be married there!
