Colorado Springs Senior Center

For the location, it's surprisingly nice inside. Spacious with high ceilings, this Senior Center isn't too stuffy or out-dated in its amenities and decor. A kitchen is available for use. The only real complaint is probably the fact that the floor is not carpeted, so voices echo in the room, making it an effort to hear speakers clearly.Lots of seating and tables make it great for casual banquets or low key conferences. The shared parking lot seems small for all the neighboring businesses, but it should be okay if your meeting is scheduled in the evenings.

The VERY BEST art instructors are at the Senior Center. They are mega talented, dedicated art professionals who love to teach. Their commitment to art and helping art students is unsurpassed.

The Senior Center is a wonderful facility for folks to gather and participate in all kinds of activities or to just socialize. They offer a wide variety of programs like computer classes, yoga, dancing, card games AND they serve lunch daily for a reasonable price. The people that work there are so kind and caring - you couldn't ask for a better place to spend some time or to have your loved ones hang out for the day. Kudos to the staff and to the YMCA for helping to support this very much needed facility!
