Colorado Massage

Stay far far away from Katy at Colorado Massage. She pre-charges you, which I thought was a bit odd (should have followed my gut and moved on) and then keeps your money when SHE cancels.Last Saturday I had a massage scheduled for 1:00. At 10:17 she messaged me letting me know she wasn't feeling well and rather be safe than sorry, thought we should cancel. As this is the time of Covid, I wholeheartedly agreed.Well now Katy is keeping my money! Even though she cancelled on me! I'm honestly shocked she thinks this is appropriate. I'm going to file a claim with my credit card, but she fully 100% stands by the idea that she is keeping my money. She won't even refund the tip I prepaid.UPDATE: Katy your insistence to keep my money is appalling. Your cancellation policy is wording in a way that leads your customers to believe if THEY cancel they will be out the fees not if YOU cancel. Do you honestly feel good about cancelling a massage because you were sick then keeping that person's money? Even the tip that was pre-paid? For services you didn't complete? Consumers have rights and you can't decide your policy is to take those away. Consumer law does trump your desire to keep the money. Seems really short sighted on your end to keep money that you didn't work for (which will then be charged back by the credit card company) and in the meantime you have lost 2 customers (myself and my husband) and gained a lot of bad will.

Awesome deep tissue massage! I went in with a terrible migraine that I've had for days. I left feeling amazing. No more pain and no more migraine. It's hard for me to find a massage therapist that puts enough pressure. Very impressed! Will be back again soon!

I had hurt my back, so I contacted her for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. What a great full body massage, I walked away feeling much better. I would definitely recommend

This massage was a surprise for my husband (from me) - Katy was able to get him in same day/ later in the day! My husband is a veteran and loves deep tissue massages and has had several of them overseas- especially ones where therapists use their feet- hands down he stated it was the BEST massage he's ever received. So good that he came out and wanted me to get a massage as well! Her table is so comfy- her room is very relaxing, loved the essential oils; her hot oil, and massage cream! I personally love deep tissue myself and she treated all of my concerns. Her constant pressure felt wonderful! When I had called I told her I'd like to pay cash- overall we will back soon! We both left feeling wonderful! Thanks Katy!

The Best Way To Describe Katy Johnson and The Help I've Received From Her: She Is And Has Been My Saving Grace Ever Since, To Inspire Me To Push Me To Make Me Stronger Every Day Since! I Eat, Sleep and Breathe Katy Every Day! Her Presence Follows Me Every Where I Go! It Truly Is Hard To Imagine! No One Will Understand That Unless You Experience This Blessing The Way I Have! They dont honor the gift certificates they offer through yelp. They state they will charge an additional $50 to use the $50 GC, making their $75.00 massage, $100.00. She claims that she doesnt get any money from yelp purchases. Even though yelp says they give the company 70% of the money collected for the certifactes. She knows this is a problem, and the certificates are still available for purchase on yelp. Go to massage envy, they only charge 55.00 for a 60 min massage, and they are way friendlier.

Katy was professional and accommodating from the get-go! I was able to book a deep tissue massage on the same day and her service met every expectation. Katy asked questions during the massage to ensure I was comfortable and the pressure was appropriate. She confirmed my areas that needed additional attention and spent more time attending to them. The background music was soft and soothing and I felt more relaxed than I have in a very long time. Overall, I have to say for booking my initial appointment with Katy without any history or knowledge of her reputation and skill, I was amazingly impressed and highly recommend her.

This was hands down the WORST massage I've ever had in my entire life! She was super unprofessional, she didn't read the notes ahead of time! She didn't even know my massage was 90 mins. When we started the massage the music was techno, which is not relaxing at all. I told her that my neck was hurting me and needed to be worked on, although she didn't take that into consideration AT ALL! She spent an hour working on my back, pushing me to the point that I almost puked. After I asked her for the 3rd time to stop working on my back she finally moved to my arms that's when I noticed she was using her FEET to massage me, never once did she ask me if that was okay, and that was not in the description. Finally she didn't go the full 90 mins. When we approached her for a refund she said she doesn't issue refunds and that was it! She didn't try to make it right, I will never do business with this lady ever again. If I could give her zero stars I would. Thanks for ruining my birthday.
