It's a nice festival. Good beer, we did not eat anything, but did some shopping. It was really hot that day, but there were a bunch of tents and trees to get some shade. Plenty of play opportunity for the little ones as well. Parking can get hard to get so I suggest going early... next year that is :)

We spent close to a hundred dollars a turkey leg, Philly Sandwich, desert and to whiskeys and gingerailes, parking and entry fee. In return we ate our food, heard one song, saw a couple of cloggers. Came ready to spend some money on cetic t shirts, but nothing in the 3x size and they were not celtic shirts, just sayings. The vendors were really pushing utility kilts, getting out of your time shares, a henna tatoo place and a few booths on Irish Names. No genealogy books, or real celtic stores with linnens and costumes. My advice if you want to go to a anykind fair to eat junk food you will be happy, if you want to enjoy a real Irish Festival complete with Irish Dancers, Irish Wolfhounds, buildings of shows and music save up your money and go to the Dallas Irish Festival held in the spring.
