I was told that students there are off looking for people to massage. Is that true? If so, how do I learn more about the program? Thanks!

I attended and graduated from their 850 hour program this school offers few yearsback, some of their teachers were great but others not so much. I was disappointed in their response to problem teachers, was more in protecting these teachers than trying find a solutions. I saw more than one student loose quite a bit of money to the school. If you're looking for a good/great massage therapist school my recommendation is to look in Denver or Boulder.

First the good:. Memberships. Evening appointments on Monday and Wednesday.Prices are reasonable based against other schools offering student, intern or professional massages. Other schools have Saturday hours which is really nice. Now for the meh:Bring cash for a tip because tips on cards are topped at 5 dollars so good and not so good massage students .......all get the same tips.....I was told 'so it's fair' for everyone'. Meaning good and not so good students all get the same card tip. Bring cash for a GOOD student. And tips in cards are taxed (not the school fault or policy, I am just pointing that out). You can't request a good student massage therapist......you get what you get.....good or not so good at each visit. If you prefer a man or a woman, tough, you get either male or female, who ever is working at the time of your appointment. You can't schedule out more than two weeks at time. That's a hassle but their policy.Don't bother asking how to get in touch with a very good former student who has gotten their license....they want you to use an intern there who is waiting in their license.......you know so they can keep that revenue stream. You can choose a professional therapist also.Cancel you appointment 24 hours in advance or still pay, however if they have issues.....they can cancel anytime they want. (I got cancelled 90 minutes before my appointment). No low lights during the massages.....a drag but not a deal buster.Overall, a so so place for a massage.

Beautiful place, so calm & relaxing. If you join their annual membership they discount the massage prices for every visit! So worth it! My husband's Physical Therapist suggested he try a massage. He had never had one & was a bit nervous on his first visit. The student who worked with him was excellent, very professional & knowledgeable.

I have been to multiple massage school clinics and this one would rate at the top of the list. The students and staff were friendly and the massage was just what the doctor ordered. They offered professional massage as well as the student massage, I had a student massage and would say it was worth more than I paid. I will definitely be returning!

I've been there 4 times. I'll update this review after the next couple of appointments, if Yelp allows that. The first massage was ok, not great, it was a student who didn't have much confidence, and I think she was uncomfortable giving a massage to a male, and that made me a little uncomfortable, but not so much that I didn't enjoy it well enough for the student price. The second massage was also from a student, and she was much more advanced, it was great! Turns out, she had already been doing massage unofficially for some time, and was making it official with the certification from the school. The other 2 times were to try to help with injuries that really needed medical attention from bike crashes. They still did the massage, and I didn't care if it didn't help much, just a little would be good. But they warned me that if I needed to see a doctor, then the massage wasn't going to do much. They were right, if you're all busted up from a crash, a massage won't help. The price/value proposition is good, just be aware there can be some unevenness in the quality of the students, and that's part of the deal, you get a discount, they need the practice.

I've been going bi-monthly since July of 2017 and I've had mostly excellent experiences. Naturally there is an expectation that needs to be set when going for a student massage. Sometime you get stuck with a dud; It happens but generally not the experience you'll get. It's important to note that when you get one of those duds you absolutely reserve the right to never be paired with them ever again and they do a pretty good job of ensuring that happens. All the staff is friendly, communicative and the environment is perfectly suitable. Highly recommended if you are looking for a budget massage.

Whoever is looking at this school and is hoping to figure out if it's a good match please read this. I wish I had someone to tell me the truth about this school. They do not care about you, your situation, your job, your kids. They will take everything from you and treat you like an employee Full-time and have you prioritize them as well as school will manipulate you and take all your money. They do not care if you actually learn or pass. Please consider other schools because even the schools know about this one and how they play their staff and students. save you're money they are more expensive for zero reason but to be in your pocket.

Have been going there for years and have generally received good massages from students and professionals alike but recently had 2 massages from Cindy and she really hit the bad spots. If you like deep tissue work, Cindy has incredible strength and really works the kinks out .
