After a delectable beer tasting/tour at Elevation Brewery we stopped here for a quick snack. I had passed it during my previous trip to Salida and was really excited to stop, not to mention I adore the business name.I had the hot fudge sundae while Mom an Dad enjoyed cones of soft serve. The hot fudge was really delicious and I was happy for the snack. Also, soft serve ice cream isn't always easy to find so I was super happy. The menu featured a wide variety of items (from ice-cream to dim sum - seriously). It's a crowd pleaser for sure!I'll definitely be stopping back in when I am back in Salida.

This has to be the first roadside ice cream stand I've seen that serves Pad Thai! The burgers were not good at all (obviously just frozen patties), though they were served on surprisingly good wheat buns. The portion of fries that comes with the burger is rather small. I loved the Thai Iced Tea, it was perfect for a hot day. The lady who runs it was very friendly, so I'd recommend stopping here if you're in the mood for Asian food on your travels.

I simply do not understand the positive reviews for this place. Do not be fooled by the charm of its name or the fact it has a wide ranging menu that includes everything from ice cream to burgers to dim sum to Chinese. The ice cream is run of the mill here, I had their green tea ice cream with fudge which wasn't terrible but still tasted like something you could buy at the supermarket and make yourself. However, the food here is AWFUL. I had their beef noodle soup, and the soup was less soup than white sludge with the viscosity of gravy. The beef was hard and tasteless, and it had a green sheen to it that definitely meant it was far from fresh. My wife had their tempura shrimp soup, which came with tempura shrimp directly from the frozen section at any supermarket. My daughter had orange chicken that also tasted like frozen boxed food. To top it off, all these were way overpriced at around $10 per dish. Finally, the customer service was bad too. The woman that took our order was rude and impatient, and seemed very annoyed when we so much as asked a question about the menu. She didn't make the experience any more pleasant.Avoid Colorado I Scream & Stuff at all costs. The ice cream was average, and the customer service and food were both terrible.

On a road trip from Taos New Mexico to Morrison Colorado via Garden of the Gods.....We stumbled into "I Scream and Stuff". Well, and stuff means dim sum, pot stickers, Chinese meals, hamburgers, great shakes all marketed as "Not Greasy, Good", "healthy" and "East/West". The menu was not what we were expecting at all. Ice cream. Yep. Burgers and Shakes. Sure. We were pretty skeptical that they could also pull off so many Chinese menu items....I mean, up in the mountains, in a small roadside café, named Ice Scream and stuff.. No way. The food was as advertised...no grease. We had a very lean Cheeseburger. On a whole wheat bun. With a thick and delicious shake. We decided to skip the sides...as we just wanted a snack. We were shocked when the owner came out to see us at our table explaining to us we had been overcharged because we skipped the sides....and produced cash on the spot to make us whole. The food we had was well prepared and tasted great. Maybe a bit healthy for us as a little grease isn't all that bad. The food we saw delivered to others all looked great as well (especially the Chinese food!)In addition the bathroom was super nice and clean. The service was pleasant and friendly. The place was completely full...so clearly they do a great amount of business. We enjoyed the sun and the views outside at the picnic tables, had a good time talking to the motorcycle riders (one guy from Texas on his way back from Salt Lake city.....his short ride of the summer). Everyone seemed to be enjoying this place and like us, chatting up the tourist. We left thinking...wow, that place is legit !

Don't do it! Ice cream only. Don't do the food! VERY terrible service, very poor quality food and the portions are almost laughable.

This microcosm of totalitarianism was a really entertaining find. Check out all the signs telling you how to behave: The signs tell you not to use chewing tobacco or your phone when in line, how to open and close doors, how to use the bathroom, etc. etc. etc. I have never seen so many admonishing, anal-retentive signs posted by a business. Hilarious. But don't try asking employees about the signs; they'll look at you like you're nuts because they apparently haven't looked at the outside of the place. Food is passable.

I love this place. It is an annual stop on the way to and/or back from Taos, NM. My personal favorite is the Pineapple Chicken. It isn't the heavy, sticky, sweet sauce that some restaurants use. More like a like Pineapple vinaigrette. Not at all sour, but just right. Very fresh tasting and light.

Vacationing in Colorado, we stopped by this place on our way north from Alamosa. We love little mom and pop places and like to spend our money with local folks. The young man that took our order was kind and personable, but that is where the good stuff ended on this poor excuse for a meal. The sub-par food and small portions were made worse by the extremely expensive prices (considering what we got). My wife ordered the sweat and sour chicken, which was frozen broccoli with frozen chicken nuggets, topped with sweet and sour sauce. She also ordered a side of rangoons, which were obviously straight out of a supermarket frozen food box.My son and I both ordered chicken sandwiches and fries. The fries were just ok. The sandwiches had 4 small strips of chicken breast on a hoagie bun. After seeing the prices, we decided to take our food to go and get our own drinks from the car. The total for our order (sweat & sour chicken, rangoons, 2 chicken sandwiches) was $38.95! One last bit- the restroom is a port-a-john off the parking lot. The place was terrible. Run away. Go to McDonalds. Anything but here.

Where else could I get good Pad Tai and a blueberry shake? This is a neat clean place, reasonably priced for fresh food.
