Collective Hue Salon and Spa

I have been going to Kari at Collective Hue for years! The salon is beautiful and bright and upscale but not stuffy. I will continue coming to this gem!

No masks are required according to the website but don't be fooled.. I showed up for the first time and surprise !!!- I was asked to wear a mask. I didn't want to comply because there was no reason for it, but I knew there was a cancellation fee - which really shouldn't have applied since they technically were not honest on the website. However, I figured if they were dishonest enough to lie they would probably have no problem taking my money either, so I stayed. What was the reason I asked. The lady at the front desk told me she had cancer and that was the reason. I am very sympathetic towards her illness but this was not a reason to ask everyone to wear a mask. I mean she alone was the one that had a vulnerability, so why were the rest of us masking up?? Pre Covid this never happened.Needless to say / I complied and it was a very uncomfortable several hour hair visit with the mask. But guess what happened? To my surprise the lady with cancer jumped in a chair not to far from me later in my visit , took off her mask and proceeded to happily have her hair done by a coworker UN-Masked!!!! Completely ridiculous! Apparently she's not really that concerned for her health and everything is a double standard / she ( being sick) does not need to wear a mask but requires everyone ( not sick ) around her to wear one. It gets even better though... once she left the salon all the employees and clients unmasked... it was utterly ridiculous and sooo frustrating. It felt like a complete joke and that she did it in spite of knowing clients didn't want to wear masks. I do not recommend this salon. The mask rule is more of a power trip than for anyones safety. If you value your freedom don't go here.

I have had Kari doing my hair for a bit over a year now, She has been my stylist even before starting at collective hue. She does absolutely amazing work and has brought back my hair to being healthy and beautiful. She gives you an honest opinion and genuinely educates you about your hair. She is unlike any stylist I have had before.

Love this salon! It is bright, clean and everyone who works there is caring and friendly. Kari is an amazing stylist, truly listens to understand what I am wanting and the results have always been on point! Would definitely recommend Kari!

Beautiful modern salon with talented stylists. I've been going to Stephanie for the last year and always love my cut and color. She takes her time to determine my hair goals (as I'm always debating how dark or light I want to take it) and delivers time after time. I personally have not seen the other stylists but my mom gets her hair cut by a few of the girls whenever she's in town and the cuts have always been flattering for her facial structure and age. The salon is beautiful and comfortable, which is an absolute necessity when your hair takes 2 hours - bonus - there are beautiful views of Pikes Peak from the salon chairs.

Collective Hue Salon is great, super clean and friendly! Heather is an amazing, I have finally found some one that I trust with my hair!! THANK YOU HEATHER!

I cannot say enough great things about Collective Hue and specifically, my stylist Vivian! She suggests products and services that have progressively made my hair both healthier and more vibrant over the past three visits. She has a great personality which sets a fun vibe of our appointments. The ambiance of Collective Hue is elegant and the awesome owner is highly involved. If you're looking for a professional blonde specialist at a chill location with, Vivian is your stylist and this is your place!

This was my first time to the Salon. Great vibe, very clean and everyone was helpful and very friendly. Danielle J was my stylist and did a fantastic job. She had a lot of work to do with my hair since it had been a while since my last stylist left Colorado Springs. She was very helpful and offered several options and asked questions about what I wanted. I love my color/highlights and cut. I would highly recommend her and the salon. I will be back.

Steph is the best! I've been going to Steph for over a decade. My husband and daughter see her too. She's a fantastic stylist who always listens to our requests and helps guide us to what's best for our hair. And to top it off, she's a wonderful person!

I have a really hard time with brass in my hair. Going all over blonde is high maintenance and Brianna was great. Highly recommend. The owner Stephanie was very nice. Overall very good experience!
