Classic Bowl

I lived on Circle Drive across from Classic Bowl in the 1960's. On Saturday mornings my brother and I could mow a couple neighbor's lawns for $2 each and go to the bowling alley where we could bowl two games, rent shoes and each have a hot dog and a soda for $1.25. Yup. Classic Bowl is under new ownership as Pinheadz Bowl (719) 344-8408. After six months of renovations it just reopened in the last few weeks. The lanes are nice. I took my two grandkids there and we bowled two games and rented shoes for a total of $20. Pretty good deal, even though we didn't get a hot dog and soda!LOLNew owner was very nice.

Great bowling place and it has the old style that I love. Beer is cheap. Also they are very fast with there service and always there to help

So I gave it 2 stars instead of one cuz the lanes are actually pretty good and not super dented, also the pool games are only 50 cents. But the pizza tasted like plastic, got attitude from the guy in the front just cuz I asked for a left side lane and he said ok and the gave me a right side lane. I corrected him and the there was the attitude. Beer tasted old, soda had so much syrup and we ordered 2 pitchers to give the benefit of the doubt. Nachos were stale and tasteless, lastly 90% of the balls are in terrible shape

So we were looking for a fun bowling alley for a birthday party for our 3-year-old...and boy did we find it! Other alleys were looking to charge us ridiculous fees for lanes and party, Classic was just the opposite! We had four lanes reserved...our birthday boy even got a special bowling ball that lights up when it rolls! He was in heaven! The staff could not have been more accommodating, as we wanted for nothing while we were there.Just keep in mind, if the neighborhood looks shady, that usually where you are going to find the best places! So true with Classic Bowl! We ordered the pizza and it was good...nothing incredible, but certainly not bad at all! Great staff, great food and drink prices and wonderful lanes. For an actual bowling experience, this is our new place! Thank you Classic for making our birthday party fantastic!

Sundays are 1.50 a game 1.50 shoe rental and 11$ pitchers. How are you gonna beat that? Place looks like it hasn't been remodeled since 1985 but it adds to the charm.

This place may not be worthy of one star. WOW it's bad. Lanes are really dry and the balls look like they went threw a garbage disposal. Out of 22 lanes they had about 5 that were working. Dirty as could be, bathrooms are NASTY! Will never come back. Maybe I do give it a zero.

The food was great, Customer service was awesome, both the gentlemen and young lady working today where probably the only reason I'll come back and retry a different experience, as management or who it may concern should know that they need to work on the lanes, are balls kept getting stuck, and are scores kept on messing up, and to top it of it suddenly stopped working, they switched us to a different lane but we kept having the same issues so we decided to just call it quits and leave, as we told the gentleman working there that they where awesome but that I truly think they need to get those lanes fixed...for first impression it wasn't the best.... it could of been amazing and totally a five star if the lanes weren't messed up....

If I could give it zero stars I would. It is cheap compared to Brunswick, but for a good reason. The lanes are run on computers with a less than adequate program used for scoring. Once we were assigned a Lane, we found the computer wasn't responding correctly. Upon requesting help form the employee, we were assigned a different Lane. However this Lane also possessed the same unresponsive computer. In the end we just played a couple games without any scores because it wasn't worth trying to fix the technical issue. On a side note, shoes were superb, probably because no one uses them. 10/10 would not think of again

The staff is friendly. The lanes kept resetting, skipping turns and getting stuck. We had to switch lanes. Its hard to enjoy a game when the lanes are not working. Although, we changed lanes because of known issues we were only refunded for one lane, one game.

Bathroom weren't clean, the pizza I ordered was not cook all the way, the balls are in bad shape.
