Food was amazing especially for it being in the mountain! It was one of my favorite quesadillas because the meat was so well seasoned. The burritos was so big for us ordering a small. The drink was amazing too.

The prices are good & there is a genuine Mexican feel here, but I won't be returning. There are always errors in my take-out orders & multiple times the chicken in my food has been suspicious.I'm all for using as much meat & parts of an animal to reduce waste, but I'm a firm believer that neither my burrito nor my quesadilla should have cartilage & unknown bits in it. On my last take-out I ordered refried beans and not only did they forget them, but when I came back inside for them, their manager (I assume) was stand-offish & had a rude attitude towards me & the employees too. Unfortunately those beans were more like a liquid bean-soup with an off taste.Sorry for the pictures, but it was necessary.

4.5/5. Local spot, with a good family feel. Incredibly nice servers and our food came out so quickly! We had the queso which was a thin creamy white queso. For my entree I got quesabirria which was sooo good. It had a nice spice and were very crispy. The consume was fantastic. I got a side of rice which was just dry and either overcooked or undercooked otherwise it'd be 5 stars! Will be a staple for future visits.

The wait staff is always friendly at this local joint and the food...wow! This is my go to whenever I'm in the area. My guac with chicharrones was amazing. So tender with good flavor and salsa on the side. My breakfast plate rocked as well. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the tortillas were light, the avocado fresh and the salsa rojo fit the dish perfectly. I almost forgot to mention the freshly made chips and salsa you get when you sit down. They will ask if you want them. Always say yes. SFG! I will return.

Authentic as it gets, well priced friendly staff. The chips are great, this place has really good food especially if you like Mole. It also has a full bar with both Mezcal and Tequila options. Summit County Mexican hole in the wall.

Our 2nd time here this week and it is not to be missed. This is our stop on the way to Grand Junction to see family and our way home. The care they put into creating delicious food is noticeable. We always get a cecina (rose pork) quesadilla and today we added the quesabirria tacos. AMAZING! They bring out chips and salsa and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. It's just off the highway and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is clean, bright, and there is a happy, welcoming feel. They clearly take pride in the business. We can't wait to come back. Thank you!!!The food was so good I was done eating before I realized I forgot to take a picture. I will add them when we eat our meal that we got to take home .

GREAT CASUAL MEXICAN RESTAURANT!We arrived shortly before 6pm and the place was packed already, and we were lucky to grab one of the last table without waiting! It was a mixed start to our dining experience. The on-the-house chips and salsa was great. However, the house margarita wasn't available (due to lack of lime...). I settled for a beer - not bad but I certainly felt a bit disappointed. We then had a few Street Tacos - chicharron (pork belly), chorizo, pastor, and tripa. Generally speaking, taste was fairly decent. The Smothered Burrito was probably the highlight of the night. The burrito goes so well with the green salsa - sophisticated flavor with mild spiciness! :)Note: 15% gratuity will automatically be added to the bill. I consider it somewhat acceptable because they posted a few big signs on the wall about that. In addition, I'd suggest the restaurant to also verbally inform the customers at time of ordering and/or getting the bill.

Great service and great flavor personally. Not a huge mole person, but it did have great flavor and my wife loved it. Id definitely get the quebradita again. I saw someone else's plate with the smothered burrito that also looked huge and definitely looked amazing.

This place is authentic and delicious and has a laid back environment with colorful decorations. They made me a vegetarian tlayuda even though it wasn't on the menu and there were many vegetarian options. The salsas were delicious and they had varying spice levels. The service was good but the bathroom was so dirty we couldn't use it. The horchata and jamaica were so delicious and definitely worth it!

We found this little while in the that sits next to a car wash on our way to Vail last year. After a long flight from CT to Denver, we stopped in Frisco for a bite. Instead a chain restaurant we looked for something local and found Cielo. They first serve chips and salsa booth look like they could be made in house. Chips were good and crispy and didn't come all mangled like you get sometimes. Salsa was mild but tasty. We both ordered the steak burrito. I order mine with both the green and red salsa. The burritos are huge and we probably could have shared one. We take the leftovers for lunch the next day. Prices are reasonable and the place isn't fancy. However, if you are looking for some good Mexican food, give Cielo's a try.
