Fun festival with lots of great chocolate! It was very crowded though and takes a while to do what you want to do like try some chocolate or buy something. I thought that charging more than one ticket for tasting was not the best and overall the admission price is steep since you have to buy tasting tickets. Overall great time and loved all the chocolates

Fun way to get your fill and more of Chocolate. The parking was easy and the longest part of the day was waiting to get tickets (Thank you Yelp!) and buy tasting tickets (24 for $20 dollars)The samples were good especially one chocolatier that had passion fruit and habanero options (amongst many others). Some were kid centric (chocolate covered gummy worms-I had two of those samples I wont lie) and some were very high end.The chocolate lab statue looked good enough to eat (I didn't try it I promise) and a chocolate bust of Peyton Manning watched over the crowd with laser rocket eyes (that didn't melt any chocolate!).There were some food options without chocolate but it was too much fun tasting to deviate. Definitely a chocolate overload but mo chocolate mo better right?

First and foremost, thank you Yelp, for the opportunity to attend an all chocolate event! Didn't even know there was such a thing before. The timing was perfect as the holidays are near. Although it was a far drive, the location especially the surrounding (Arapahoe County Fairground) were pretty neat. Since the weather was nice, we had fun taking pictures out on the nearby lawn of the park. So, thanks Yelp again, for giving us a chance to be out and about.Back to the events, the live entertainment was great, chocolate sculptures were awe-inspiring and the food and drinks were all delicious. However, I just hoped the vendors were showing more festive vibes! A lot of them were just terse and, if I may, "over protective" of their samples. I've seen happier faces at events with free samples so I couldn't explain why the Choctoberfest vendors who were charging "tickets" and selling their products couldn't be more upbeat, quite a bummer!

CHOCOLATE!!! Huge thank you to yelp for my complementary tickets! I've seen this event previously and was always turned off by the fact that you have to pay to get in, then pay to taste, even if it's cheap to get in. And I still have a problem with it, either charge more to get in and taste for free or free entry and charge to taste. So I was ok coming since I got free tickets. There was a lot of chocolate and a lot of desserts or drinks that were not chocolate, nice to have a palate cleanser occasionally. The chocolate was in all sorts of varieties, truffles, toffee, cake, and then there was ice cream, candy, coffee, wine, chocolatini's etc and some normal lunch foods too. I didn't love the random other vendors like Koehler and jewellery...we just walked right by most of them. My friend and I got 24 taste tickets between us and that was enough for us, and more and you would make yourself sick or be taking some home. And we were fairly selective on what to spend our tickets on, if something was 2 taste tickets and I felt like it wasn't worth 2 tickets then we'd move on, but most of the vendors were pretty fair. The chicks from frozen sang some songs and there were other competitions on stage where people were winning money to spend in the event which was fun to watch. And the only pic I took was of the chocolate Payton Manning...guess I was too busy eating chocolate

Appreciate the opportunity to attend this event and like other reviewers was surprised when I got there and the tickets were just admissions and didnt include tasting tickets. With that said the event was hosted in a clean facility with clean restrooms and had a decent array of sweets to taste. I would have appreciated more normal food options and drink options to help wash down all the sugar though. There were some VIP options that my guest and I really wanted to try and were willing to pay some extra tickets for, but were ultimately turned down which was disappointing. Fairly nice event, but not sure it's something I'll be seeking out annually.

Thank you Yelp for the complimentary tickets and I know this was not your gig, but when I saw there was no tasting tickets included I should have turned around and go home(especially since I lived nearby). For a chocolate festival there was only about half chocolate vendors, there were some wine and other vendors selling things not chocolate related. We were in and out of there within about 30 mins. I was excited to see wine there and they were even charging 2 tickets for a taste (If I wanted wine I would have gone to a wine festival....which I do or have great dark chocolate included to taste with your wine). Some of the vendors where very cheap with the amount of chocolate you got for a ticket (would have gotten more by ordering from a website or store) as some were cutting pieces down to a very small size. One guy must have made over $200 on a small cake that he cut into miniscule sizes.I did take some chocolate home (since too much to eat while there). I do like the concept, but this event did not do it for me. I went to one earlier in the year at the Merchandise Mart and while it did have some vendors selling other items it was a good balance and a better selection of chocolate.I was warned by others who had been to this location before and I should have heeded the warning.

Total rip-off. Four Chocolatiers and the rest were booths attempting to sell everything from beauty supplies to windows. These vendors had store bought candies available for you to exchange your overpriced coupons for. Hardly worth the price of admission or the hassle. We will never go back.
