My godson's/nephews love coming here. We come here maybe every other time they come to visit. So much activity inside and out to do. Even in bad weather they have the swings and slide to do, if opened. They love playing on the playground outside because of the monkey bars. I also do like the crafts they have for the children and adults alike if they wish to partake. They also have story reading hours in their book nook. You can also go in on your own and read or perform your own puppet shows like my nephew/godson did. Such a creative mind he has. The downside: as I've posted before I don't care that they charge adults who are only just being the babysitter not participating. Some of the items I believe are dangerous and definitely need adult supervision like some items in the workshop. Scissors that cuts through pipe cleaners that can cut fingers. Sharp screws. In the fire department area, they have real material fire hydrants not foam or some type of protective material. A child can trip and hit their heads. Just to say a few that i noticed and i can go on and on. Luckily im not a safety inspector. Yes we go but im definitely a helicopter godfather:uncle.

Omg!! Now that I have a little one this has easily become one of our favorite places. We got a membership and spent all summer here. We are obsessed with Bloom. It was redone last October and they did such a great job! My son has so much fun exploring. He would crawl around and it was a safe place for him. And I think two weeks ago, we went and he was walking around. It's such an amazing space. I am obsessed. And my son has so much fun. Each time we go, he finds something new in the area. We also really love the water area. My son is obsessed with water. Like he has an unhealthy obsession. Those are probably the two most visited areas for us. The rest of the museum is sweet but my little one is still small that he gets trampled by the other kids. So the Bloom room is a safe place for us and for him to explore without him being trampled over.

This is such a cool place, and it has been growing and improving for decades. There is something for children of ages, but the water-works thing seems to always be a hit. Loads of science and fun with a great and supportive staff. They also do some occasional free days or activities, so be sure to check their website.

My son and I hadn't been to the children's museum in about 2 years because it's kind of expensive for a few hours and when we came before it felt like there was a lot of competition from bigger kids for the activities so I didn't feel like we got a lot out of it. However, now that he's older, I thought we'd try again. I purchased an annual membership in conjunction with the butterfly pavilion so we'll be going a lot. We had a great time the other day. My toddler especially enjoyed the bubble room and the art room. Although we didn't have time to check out the outdoor stuff, it looked really cool.

We have a membership here so we go here often! We have never been to a children's museum besides this one. I have a 2 year old and a baby and was not sure if they would have a lot of stuff for their young age but I was totally wrong! There is plenty for all ages but I do feel like it is especially great for the young kids! They have both indoor and outdoor areas. So it is great all year round.I especially love the bloom room for my kids. It is very baby proof and safe for my little ones to play. Super cute inside too, I love how they decorated it!You can bring your own food and drinks but they do have food and drinks for purchase as well. Mostly healthier food like salads, sandwiches, and snacks. My only issue is that in the summer time it is insane. We've only come on week days so I can't imagine how it's on weekends. Super packed and chaotic just from the shear amount of children running around. If you have a child or a child visiting you I highly recommend checking it out. They are guaranteed to have a great time! If you can visit during the school year that is best as well.

Kids had a pleasant time with various sections and activities, especially the ones with socks-only! Ticket prices for 1-year-olds are unreasonable; mine walked around and explored, but could not fully participate and enjoy to the extent older kids could. It was also a bummer that Adventure Forest was closed, this was the main reason why we visited.Otherwise, kind staff.

Disclaimer: I have no kids, but I am a 38yr-old, happily childless woman with two 10yr-old kid siblings and a 2.5yr-old nephew. I came here with my dad (with the 10yr-olds) and sister (2.5yr-old) to meeting in the middle on a weekend morning, and it was HOT. Entry was easy, they just take your money and let you go on your way, no security or anything. Strollers, diaper bags, your own beverages and snacks, screaming toddlers thrown over your shoulder, they just let you in. Bring whatever you need. You can fill your own water bottles or buy food and beverages at their cafeteria. We went outside first to get into the climbing structure while it was still cool-ish out. Kids must take an adult into the play structure and there are some physically limiting spaces, so don't be surprised if they tell you (an adult) you're too large to go in. If you're on the bigger side and your kid wants to climb, make sure to bring a skinny adult that can go with them. The water feature "creek" outside is really nicely shaded with lots of seating options for the adults. There was a little bit of big kid effect where older kids would just bowl over whatever the smaller ones were doing, but for the most part it was pretty well shared. Obviously your mileage will vary. It was very hot out and the climbing structure is made of steel, so keep that in mind when you plan your visit. There were no employees keeping an eye on guests for signs of heat illness. You'll need to be quite mindful on your own. We didn't remotely make it to everything inside. This place is HUGE, which is great because we can go back and still see new things. The most wonderful part was that the 10yr-olds and 2.5yr-old could play together in several areas. There's also a little kid space for kids 3 and under (I believe) where no big kids are allowed, and that's a no shoes, soft play structures (think pillow forts with structured foam) and sound deadening panels all over the walls. It's really nice in there for a break from the chaos of the rest of the space. There IS a sensory room for those who need it, but I'm not sure what the requirements are to enter. As a neurodivergent adult I was able to self-regulate and was surprised in general that I didn't experience significant sensory overwhelm inside the museum. I would have asked to use the sensory room if I'd needed it, but there are also little spaces to get away like a reading room with soft lighting.

I've surprisingly never heard much about the children's museum until I heard about their toddler room being renovated last fall. Now that I have a little one myself I definitely wanted to check it out. Wow wow wow is all there really is to say about the whole space but especially the magical new 0-36 months space, Think Alice in Wonderland! Our little loved so many aspects in this section... it was interactive but not too over stimulating with all the beautiful choices they made. The rest of the museum is definitely geared towards older kiddos but that doesn't mean our little didn't love it, especially the giant light bright where she can practice posting and of course the whole water section! And don't miss the story time area. They have a few sessions a day where you can escape it all for a bit of r&r. Our little one only had to share the space with 2 others as I'm guessing many didn't even know the little house was a story time area!

Absolutely love the Children's Museum! Even for littles there is plenty to do. The Bloom exhibit is great and offers a safe space for less than 3yo to explore. Lots of activities and soft play. The outdoor space is amazing and my only complaint is that it is not open more often.

Bloom was amazing! But unfortunately there were so many broken things everywhere else, mostly in the ball pipes area and the bubble area. If you're there fir lunch bring it with you because the cafeteria is super expensive.
