Castlewood Park

This park is a lovely little green space and it seems no one knows it is here. I like to sit on the little hillock under the tall trees and take a breath after events at nearby Koelbel Library. Castlewood Park is easy to get to from Orchard or Belleview on Holly Street. There is a large meadow with lush grass that is a perfect field for a pick up game of volleyball, soccer or ultimate frisbee. The next time you are running around and grabbing food, bring it here and sit at the one picnic table. I've never seen more than one other car here although there is ample parking. It's a Pokemon stop in case that gets you here for an actual stop.

I love coming to this park on lunch. It's secluded in the middle of Greenwood Village and provides plenty of quiet to relax during the day. If you're in the area and are looking for a small, quiet park, this is the one.

Good park with shade and nice picnic tables and restrooms. Great place for a picnic & Frisbee. Dog friendly.
